The only downside was that some groups of youngsters were there just to smoke and drink, which can spoil the vibe. There is much good information to be found at the Mussoorie Heritage Centre, below the Mussoorie Clocktower. If you want to visit Haridwar go from October to May when the Holy Ganga water is clean. I visited Haridwar in August end . It was raining there and also on the hill region due to this the water in the Ganga river was carrying mud and sand. Also the force of the flowing water was too much which made it unable to take Holy dip. The crowd during this period is very less making the darshan to the temples and Har Ki Pauri comfortable. Stayed here for 3 nights and yet felt short. Went to Waterfall, Bhimtal, Kainchi Dham, Mukteshwar Temple, Zero Point and Chauli Ki Jali. Great trip.
