Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. Beautiful, well stocked, everything was there, everything worked! The washer and dryer were a plus!!

The place seems to be converted from an old bank, and it’s got a nice vintage vibe. The view from the window is great too. The check-in location is about a 5-minute walk from where the rooms actually are, but overall, everything was really good.

This Seydisfjordur Guesthouse is situated in the eastern fjords of Iceland, 25 minutes’ drive from Egilsstadir Airport. It offers free WiFi and a garden. A phenomenal spot to stay in while visiting the Eastfjords. The town is nice, the guest house is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen (and a particularly nice coffee machine) with a view of the waterfall from our room. Highly recommended.

Hotel Breiddalsvik se nachází v pobřežní vesnici Breiddalsvík a nabízí velkou terasu s krbem a pokoje se satelitní TV a psacím stolem. Přímo u hotelu vede islandská dálnice 1. Very cozy, comfortable, clean. Nice personnel and you have access to tea/coffee area. Also, sauna and hot tube available, unfortunately we didn’t have to use it, but it looked nice. Breakfast was tasty too.
