- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,165 reviewsI loved this hotels location, walked to the center downtown within 5 mins. I ended up with a corner room on 7th floor, so was able to look out over the Harpa Concert Center and the bay, it was beautiful. The bed was probably the best one on my week long trip and was finally able to have a good nights rest. The ladies at the front desk were awesome and so friendly. The Sky Bar and Restaurant on the top floor had an amazing view, the breakfast was included in my room rental and omg well worth it!!Guest review byStephanieGermany

The town centre was easy to get around with plenty of shops and eating places. Everything comes at a price there is nothing for free to do and even a coffee and a delicious bun will set you back about £15 A round of 4 drinks - 2 soft drinks and two beers £34 An average meal out for 4 people with a round of drinks £200 As long as you go prepared you will enjoy exploring this dramatic landscape again be prepared for the cost of doing so. Apart from the cost of everything an experience I wouldn't have missed.Guest review bySallyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Hafnarfjorthur was between Keflavic and Reykjavik making it quite handy and more affordable to stay at. We rented a car to tour the Golden Circle, enjoy the Blue Lagoon, and sightsee in Reykjavik and felt that was a good choice. We didn't sightsee in Hafnarfjorthur.Guest review byLynetteUnited States - 8.0

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.Guest review byDaniel K.Slovakia - 10.0

Booked a bus excursion to see krater, hot spring, national park, Perlan. Was great way to site-see and rest enroute. My kids loved the lava show and still talk about it a month+ later. Iceland is pretty expensive, so look into food options and excursions when you are planning your trip. We spent >$60 CAD for a 4 ice cream cones at Perlan, for example. Be prepared to have some extra spending money ahead of the trip. This is such a beautiful country; I'll be going back for sure.Guest review byMelissaCanada - 10.0

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.Guest review byMarciaUnited States
