- From $218.12 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,178 reviewsI liked self check-in possibility. Also I've got very quick answer from owner, about check-in instructions, by phone and via booking.com. Price was very good, especially comparing to other Iceland hotels, good breakfast was included as a present. Room spacious, beds comfortable, all clean. There was kettle in the room and some tea and coffee bags, nice. There are KFC and BONUS store nearby. Recommend this hotel!Guest review byMariaEstonia

The hotel was just a 5 to 10 min walk to the main shopping area, but also has restaurants, bars and a supermarket close by. Plenty of choice for everyone at the self service breakfast, from cold meats & cheeses, cerials, pastries and hot foodGuest review byLornaUnited Kingdom

The town centre was easy to get around with plenty of shops and eating places. Everything comes at a price there is nothing for free to do and even a coffee and a delicious bun will set you back about £15 A round of 4 drinks - 2 soft drinks and two beers £34 An average meal out for 4 people with a round of drinks £200 As long as you go prepared you will enjoy exploring this dramatic landscape again be prepared for the cost of doing so. Apart from the cost of everything an experience I wouldn't have missed.Guest review bySallyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Hafnarfjorthur was between Keflavic and Reykjavik making it quite handy and more affordable to stay at. We rented a car to tour the Golden Circle, enjoy the Blue Lagoon, and sightsee in Reykjavik and felt that was a good choice. We didn't sightsee in Hafnarfjorthur.Guest review byLynetteUnited States - 8.0

ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities. The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.Guest review bysandraUnited States - 10.0

This is a place of unique, rugged beauty. The resort has wonderful accommodations to fit the needs of 2 people or a large group. The spa and bistro are just right for a group that wishes to enjoy the hot springs and enjoy a light meal together.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.Guest review byDaniel K.Slovakia - 10.0

Booked a bus excursion to see krater, hot spring, national park, Perlan. Was great way to site-see and rest enroute. My kids loved the lava show and still talk about it a month+ later. Iceland is pretty expensive, so look into food options and excursions when you are planning your trip. We spent >$60 CAD for a 4 ice cream cones at Perlan, for example. Be prepared to have some extra spending money ahead of the trip. This is such a beautiful country; I'll be going back for sure.Guest review byMelissaCanada - 10.0

We are use to very large rooms with kitchens in our hotel room. While we vacationed in Iceland we stayed at VRBO’s but we saw this unique hotel and had to stay here and experience it! Loved walking around the hotel and the use of hot tub and sauna !!!Guest review byronnieUnited States - 10.0

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.Guest review byMarciaUnited States
