- From $252.40 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,182 reviewsI liked self check-in possibility. Also I've got very quick answer from owner, about check-in instructions, by phone and via booking.com. Price was very good, especially comparing to other Iceland hotels, good breakfast was included as a present. Room spacious, beds comfortable, all clean. There was kettle in the room and some tea and coffee bags, nice. There are KFC and BONUS store nearby. Recommend this hotel!Guest review byMariaEstonia

We spent 10 hours doing the circle which was amazing! But we only stayed 1 day and by evening we were too tired to enjoy the city Best: walking through tectonic plates! Lunch at tomato farm! Geysers! Blue Lagoon! Waterfalls! A wonderful day! We had a private driver so we did what we wanted as long as we wanted. Great! Our driver even took us to a dairy where we had fresh, delicious ice cream and we stopped to feed some local horsesGuest review byEileenUnited States - 8.0

Hafnarfjorthur was between Keflavic and Reykjavik making it quite handy and more affordable to stay at. We rented a car to tour the Golden Circle, enjoy the Blue Lagoon, and sightsee in Reykjavik and felt that was a good choice. We didn't sightsee in Hafnarfjorthur.Guest review byLynetteUnited States - 8.0

Great location if you are looking for accommodation as part of planning to do the Golden Circle. Circa 40-45 minute drive to Thinvellir. Grocery store nearby (sells good quality sushi) however only a few eating out options.Guest review byKarmaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities. The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.Guest review bysandraUnited States - 10.0

This is a place of unique, rugged beauty. The resort has wonderful accommodations to fit the needs of 2 people or a large group. The spa and bistro are just right for a group that wishes to enjoy the hot springs and enjoy a light meal together.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 10.0

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.Guest review byDaniel K.Slovakia - 10.0
We loved the walkability to so many attractions.
We loved the walkability to so many attractions. If you weren't physically fit - a trip to Iceland would change that for sure! What a beautiful city. Clean and environmental friendly. Even the public water closets/toilets were clean and well maintained! We loved all the attractions and history Iceland has to offer. And as they boast - the water from the faucet is ice cold, clean and clear! The only down side to the city would be for those who need wheelchair access, rollator paths or aren't physically fit. There aren't many areas that can accommodate those needs. Even at the airport, it isn't very accessible.Guest review byJeannineUnited States - 10.0

We are use to very large rooms with kitchens in our hotel room. While we vacationed in Iceland we stayed at VRBO’s but we saw this unique hotel and had to stay here and experience it! Loved walking around the hotel and the use of hot tub and sauna !!!Guest review byronnieUnited States - 10.0

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.Guest review byMarciaUnited States
