Each fresh guest room at Lambastadir Guesthouse offers hardwood floors, a work desk, as well as a private bathroom with shower. The communal dining room features tea/coffee making facilities and a microwave. The staff was very friendly and helpful and prepared a nice welcome package with recommendations for the area (check-in and check-out were seemless). The sauna and hot tub were clean and well-maintained, a great treat after a long day of travel. The breakfast was varied and plentiful.

This guest house is non-smoking and soundproof. Lovely place. Very close to all the attractions of the region. Only 4 kms to geysers and 10 minutes to Gullfoss. Great place to view aurora, even we couldn't see it due to cloudy. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely design.

The 1-bedroom Varmi Guesthouse Apartments & rooms all have a seating area with a sofa bed and TV. Each has a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries. We were not able to reach the apartment as the road nb 1 was broken due to glacier flooding. road was cut for 3 days, something to keep in mind when traveling even if extremely unusual (1100km round trip to reach airport) BUT we give a 10 rating as the owners kindly refund us for the night which covers the costs of another place on the road

We had a great stay. It is very clean and well equipped. The host was always ready to help and nice. We would stay again at this cottage.
