Amazing view. Located in Scala that provides a more peaceful location and yet, short walk or drive to Ravello and Amalfi. Hotel is at a cliff with amazing views. The hotel facilities are great. Rooms are clean and breakfast is rich and tasty. But as always, the staff is the important thing. We were quite surprised and absolutely impressed that the hotel owner actually walked from the hotel to the bus stop to greet us. Prior to our arrival from Amalfi he texted to ensure we were on the correct bus and that we got off at the correct stop. He walked us back to the hotel and straight to our room. The room was large and very clean, had the usual amenities, and included a balcony where we could see the activities in the small town square. We believe it was the family patriarch that looked for us the next morning as we sat on a local bench near the hotel just taking in the morning. He invited us to the dining room behind the hotel for a wonderful breakfast that included entirely too much food for two of us.

Hotel Pupetto provided valuable information in terms of parking and how to find the hotel. The luggage portering service was exceptionally helpful while tackling the step of Positano. They helped to expedite our check out and ensured our car was ready and luggage arrived in time for a 7am departure. The view from the restaurant was stunning and the beach was quiet with lounge chairs, bar and restaurant available and close by. The pathway into Positano with minimal steps was truly an added bonus. I would definitely stay at Hotel Pupetto again!

I don’t have much to say except that it was very very crowded and ranking Public transportation was a nightmare. I would not recommend going there in the tourist season. It was well located as far a water transportation was concerned. Take a boat trip a long the coast or the traghetto to Capri. The views are spettacolare of the coast and coast towns

Maiori is an interesting town on the Amalfi Coast. The beach is big and much more accessible that other towns. The local bus service (Sita) is good except that the buses fill up and you can be left waiting for the next one and hopefully get on it. The Amalfi Coast road is amazing, winding, narrow and so busy with traffic nonstop passing with inches to spare - sometimes buses and cars have to back up to pass on some parts. The Italian bus drivers are extremely skilled - some are nice, but some are extremely mean (and I think hate Tourists)

Arrive by train then take the accensore (elevator) down to the town - the lift-well is lined with blue tiles and fish. Gorgeous. The ferry stops down at the bay and bus 68 takes you up to the town for 1.4euro. Buy the ticket from the ladies in the ceramic shop near the bus stop before you board and validate on the bus.

You definitely need a degree of fitness for getting up and down stairs both to the property and to the beach . However the views are stunning and the location very peaceful . Lots of good places to eat within A short walk . Able to access the path of the gods for walkers .

Minori offers fabulous beaches, views and restaurants, as well as great hikes / walks, all whilst remaining unspoilt and true to it's culture and traditions. It really feels a privelege to be able to stay there and enjoy their lifestyle and beautiful home.

Furore is around 15km from amalfi, sounds close but in reality due to the winding roads it takes around 25 minutes in a car/bus Furore is quite spread out so you need to take that in to account when staying there. Car/moped is the best method of transport followed by the bus, walking is an option but be prepared for many steep hills. This is a perfect base to get into amalfi, but be aware that parking in amalfi itself is challenging and the police/car towing companies are red hot!

Peaceful and quiet—perfect for a relaxing vacation.

Peaceful and quiet—perfect for a relaxing vacation. There are plenty of good restaurants and enough markets for everyday needs. The area also offers great historical sites to explore, along with the beautiful Valle delle Ferriere nature park nearby. A convenient bus stop with frequent service makes it easy to get around the area without a car.
