This is a beautiful property of exceptional quality. We were kindly upgraded to the classic suite which was so beautiful, everything about it was special. Each room is set in original caves which have been refurbished to the highest standard. Very comfortable bed. Centrally located near shops and restaurants. We enjoyed a welcome wine on arrival and the breakfast options were varied and exceptional. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

We stayed there for one night on our way from Bari to Sicily. The hotel rooms are placed in a corridor building forming an arc. The pool was really nice, and the water was warm. A lot of outdoor space. There is a football pitch, tennis court, night show for the kids, animators (both kids and adults)… The hotel is about 2 km from the beach, but there is a bus to and from the beach. We had bed and breakfast but opted to pay for the buffet dinner. It was amazing. The pasta was excellent. Breakfast was very nice as well. The staff was very pleasant. Friendly and doing their best to cooperate.

Our appartment owner gave us a map but they did not appear readily available , number of people asked us where they could get one. Take the green route and walk the full cit , really worth it. Descend into the sassi but do in the morning when cooler. Eat at burger and pale, divine ribs and wine only 4 euros a glass. Stand on the belvedere and look into the sassi at night , magical.

We had the most amazing meal at La Torre restaurant, Giuseppe is an amazing chef. His wife is an amazing host. Our food was of a very high standard and very well presented. I had a glass of red wine that was from the area. I so regret not taking a box home. Absolutely, love our stay. Unfortunately we only stayed one night. Will go back for sure.

I liked the old city center area, all the restaurants and shops just a short walk on mostly level ground. It seemed very safe! I would have liked to see the museum but it was a little too far and down a steep hill for a troublesome knee. A little knowledge of Italian and a translation app was helpful. The people would work with you and overall we’re very kind.

Marinagri offers very unique vibe. It is peaceful and very tranquil, you will feel welcome and safe. Policoro is a small city. However it is very cute and people are kind, the weather is great in September. The reason I decided to travel to Marinaagri is sailing in the Ionian Sea. My sailing experience was sensational and I am happy I discovered new destination for my new sailing journeys. The food is amazing I did visited Nemo restaurant, this is very unique place with amazing food choices an first you may think it is a fast food place but I’d you go to Policoro you must try it it is amazing. Seafood is fresh and local and very tasty.

We found Metaponto a peculiar town, but do not regret having visit it. The reason for our visit was that said town is the town in which Pythagoras died. Presumably everyone's travels are individually motivated. In our case the hotel we picked suited best our visit to Metaponto. We definitely recommend the hotel, and the visit to Metaponto, we leave everyone to decide for oneself.

Loved going up to Christ the Redeemer it was a fantastic view of the area.Worth the zigzag drive up . We went into the village and down by the boat harbour for dinner . Had the best ever dessert at 1999 ll Ristorante. The food there was amazing . Loved the beach ,the water felt warm , great for swimming. The only thing we found difficult was parking . An interesting city for a short visit. A nice Archeological museum (general tours are in Italian exclusively). The city is rich in its theatre but unfortunately, we came out of a season. The historic city centre is situated on the top of a high natural hill; verticals in the city are striking. Therefore, free public elevators are quite ordinary means of transportation.

Adorable town with incredible views. Loved strolling at night when it seemed the entire village and all ages were out in the piazza enjoying each other. We didn't do the Flight of the Angels as my husband has had back surgery, but it looked fabulous. So glad we spent a night in this gorgeous village!
