- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 547 reviewsOur several day stay at Tenuta Pilastru was wonderful. The rural location near Arzechena was very tranquil -- wonderfully quiet! The grounds and buildings are meticulously maintained. Our room was quite ample in size and comfort. The staff were very friendly and professional at every level. The breakfasts and dinners served in the on-site restaurant were fantastic! Delicious! Tanked up with a very well-rounded and filling breakfast buffet in the morning, and after a day of exploring the area, wrap up the day with a superb dinner meal, served by incredible staff. Tenuta Pilastru's central location in the Gallura region made it easy to explore so many areas within an hours' drive. The nearest town, Arzechena, is a delightful place. The folks we encountered were very kind, and there are ample amenities in the town for both citizens and visitors alike. All-in-all, ours was a great stay! We would definitely book here again on future visits, and definitely recommend to others. Thanks Tenuta Pilastru!Guest review byMikeUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 455 reviewsOur one-night stay at the Colonna Resort in Porto Cervo was nothing short of magical. My wife and I, traveling all the way from the United States, were captivated by the beauty and elegance of this stunning location on the Costa Smeralda. The resort's amenities are top-notch. We spent the afternoon lounging by the magnificent pools, each offering a different ambiance and all surrounded by lush, well-maintained gardens. The poolside service was impeccable; we indulged in delicious cocktails and light bites while basking in the Sardinian sun. Though our stay was brief, it left a lasting impression. The Colonna Resort exceeded all our expectations with its luxurious accommodations, outstanding service, and stunning location. We highly recommend this piece of paradise to anyone visiting Sardinia. We can't wait to return for a longer stay and continue exploring this beautiful island.Guest review byMichaelUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 277 reviewsThe hotel is on a very convenient location to go and visit west Palau, La maddalena, and Caprera or east Porto rotondo, cala di volpe and Golfo arranci. Clean and comfortable air conditioned room with fridge and hair dryer , Amazing food buffet dinner with large choice of fish or vegetable starters, pasta or rice , meat or fish main course and wine and coffee included . Breakfast was just as amazing with bacon, eggs, home made cakes and cookies and fruit and cereals. Very friendly staff. Good value for money for couples with or without children but remember this is a holiday village hotel with lots of fun and noisy activities, after 11pm it's very peaceful again.Guest review byAntonio Di RienzoItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 550 reviewsExceptional hotel organized in apartments in several buildings. The whole property is very nice, well organized, and maintained. Everyone from staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious, decorated with style, and very cozy. The balcony was huge and equipped with soft sofas for sunbathing. Breakfast is very good and diverse, but it's exactly the same selection every day. Hotel organizes special Sardinia dinner, I highly recommend attending this event - it's set in a very nice harbour environment, and food is delicious. Be prepared for an unreasonable amount of food ;). Enough parking places are covered in shade, but unfortunately, it's a bit pricey.Guest review byNikolaSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 172 reviewsThe stay was short but pleasant. The facility is welcoming with large, bright areas. The room was very bright, and it is evident that the walls were recently refreshed. Overall, everything is perfectly maintained. I recommend it for the huge pool and the beautiful, well-equipped beach in front of the hotel.Guest review byMichaelUnited States

The location was perfect and the beach in front of the hotel was the prettiest beach in the area. The restaurants nearby in the plaza were all so good. Porto Cervo is just a short 10 minute drive away and worth a visit. We highly recommend Club Hotel Baja.Guest review byChristineUnited States

What an amzing place! We loved the city, the prommenades, the shopping, restaurants, and of course the beaches! We visited: Poltu Quato for a dinner at Tanit (definitely recommend), we visited beaches at: Spiaggia del Principe, Grande Pevero, and Rena Bianca, Rena Bianca was by far the best!Guest review byHusseinSwitzerland - 8.0
Lovely quiet Sardinian resort.
Lovely quiet Sardinian resort. Very good restaurants and snack bars. Great little harbour which holds local markets a couple of times a week. If you’re looking for a quiet break just to have a rest this is the place to go.Guest review byMags WardUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Nice small and relaxed sea side town with good choice of restaurants. Lovely to stroll around, finish with a gelato and walking home. We loved Barracuda for its expert preparation of super fresh seafood and Blue Cobalto for its beautiful setting.Guest review byISABELLESwitzerland - 10.0
Porto Rotondo is a lovely place.
Porto Rotondo is a lovely place. It is very exclusive and the food and drink prices reflect that. Don't go if you want to save money! The beaches are great and the sea is as clear as a bell. Lovely marina with some wonderful boats.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Giants Tombs and other archelogical site in the nearby area of Tenuta Pilastru are very interesting. Only 20 minutes drive to the Costa Smeralada, the worldwide renound resort, with amazing white sand's beaches and spectacular views, as well as Porto Cervo Village and its Marina, together with high-end shopping opportunities. Arzachena is a honest pleasent village, but with nothing really special to see...Guest review byFrancescoItaly - 8.0

It is a picturesque town and has a good mixture of shops and eateries. Very easy to walk around and central location to visit the beaches and the north coast. It is expensive but the restaurant food, if you choose carefully, is excellent.Guest review byMackintosh - 8.0
The beauty of Santa Marinella is in the proximity to the...
The beauty of Santa Marinella is in the proximity to the best beaches of Costa Smeralda, but without the ridiculous price tag. Provided you have a car, the most beautiful beaches are 15-30 minutes away. Porto Rotondo with it's chick restaurants and lovely night atmosphere is 7 min driving. Famed "Lu Stazzu " restaurant that serves traditional Sardinian food, including porcheddo - fire roasted pig, is 7 min away. Keep in mind, the restaurants of Costa Smerlda book fast during the season. People dress up, especially women - I am talking evening long dresses :) Santa Marinella port is a walkable distance, but there is not much happening at night. The bottom line Santa Marinellla is cute, it is a pseudo Mediterranean style resort like village with lots of condos and small hotels. It is very pleasant and convenient to stay here, if you have a car. Two days stay.Guest review byJaneUnited States - 6.0
The location with beach and pool were lovely.
The location with beach and pool were lovely. The interiors of the apartment were poor. When we arrived at the unit we realized there was only 1 air conditioning unit in the main bedroom. The entire house was a sweat box. The guests in the second bedroom slept with a fan the first night and woke up to wet sweaty sheets. We complained and the host provided a portable A/C unit the next day. The rest of the house is about 95 degrees. You can't open the doors/windows because bees and insects will be swarming in. We had a fan running in the living room and it stopped running after day 3. A closet door in the hallway was broken and fell on my foot and had a lovely bruise. The hallway bath toilet water will spill on the floor when flushed and the shower door is about 8" from the toilet bowl. The second bathroom tub clogs and takes 24hrs to drain. The water will turn cold if 2 people are taking a shower at the same time. Cabinet doors in both bathroom/closets and kitchen are old and don't close/open properly. The kitchen is very narrow and allows for one person to be in that space at a time. It also has a fowl odor. Overall, I am disappointed with the poor facilities of this unit and it was NOT worth what I paid for. I could have stayed at 5 star resort on the beach w/breakfast and beach chairs included for half the price. Unfortunately, the pictures posted don't show the wear and tear of this place.Guest review byBARBARAUnited States - 10.0

Cannigone is a small quiet town with a very nice beach, not too crowded. Busy marina with lots of restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops. We have visited many times over the last 15 years and it is a nice place to walk around and sit on the beach or at the marina.Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful scenery. The whole experience was lovely. People were very friendly. The nearby town of Cannigione was our go to for Food & Drinks. Well worth visiting. Porto Cervo was very disappointing, as it was full of expensive designer shops & it is a totally manufactured site. Not authentic.Guest review byBrendanIreland
