Riccione is a very cool town, ideal if you're looking for a vacation where relaxation and fun take center stage. It may not boast the historical past of Rimini (which dates back to Roman times), but it’s packed with high-end shops, great restaurants, cinemas, and more — so you won’t have any trouble finding something interesting to do. This year, the municipality launched an International Festival dedicated to TV series, with a program featuring premieres and interviews with famous screenwriters, directors, and actors. If you're a night owl, you can spend the night in one of the many clubs nestled in the surrounding hills.Guest review byDanieleMOItaly - 10.0

If you want to avoid the touristy cities in Italy, Parma is the place to visit. We travelled by train from Milan, so no need for a car. Easy to walk around, plenty of history and of course the Food is what the city is most famous for.Guest review bySandys - 8.0

Afraid that we'd miss the essence of the town in just a two-day stay, we booked a private guided tour with Franceso Antonelli, which was fantastic as in just three hours gave us the history and showed us some of the UNESCO sites. Very knowledgeable and accomodating bringing the history to life. He also does Bologna and Modena tours. He can be reached at www.emiliaromagnatourguide.com and is on FB and Instagram.Guest review bysuzanneUnited States - 10.0

Cesenatico has got a very nice beach and a nice vibe as well. Distances are all walkable. Despite the many people around, everyone seems to be relaxed and friendly. Beach (Paradiso Beach) is pleasant and safe. Plenty of bars/restaurants/shops/markets as well. It was my second time in Cesenatico and would definitely return.Guest review byDannyBelgium - 8.0
The old centre is quite small and easy to navigate.
The old centre is quite small and easy to navigate. Most building are build in 14th century, with some later renovations/additions, and really beautiful with their brick walls. I really enjoyed my visit of Castello Estense (go up the Lion Tower for beautiful view of the city!) and Schifanoia Palace.Guest review byTaraSlovenia - 8.0
Bologna is a great city with plenty to see and well located...
Bologna is a great city with plenty to see and well located if wanting to travel to nearer towns for the day. We spent 4 nights in the city and saw eveything we wanted to at a very relaxed pace. 3 full days is about the max you'd want to see most of the city. Would definitely recommend the walk to the Sanctuary of the Madonna but perhaps not on a very hot day! - just take it easy as plenty of steps and uphill walking through the 666 arches (unless you cheat and take the roadtrain) - and take some water, perhaps take the train down is best. Lots of great restaurants - some hidden away down side streets - a bit pricey nearer the centre so do try to track down some better value smaller ones rather than those aiming for Joe Tourist. The Piazza is great - try and get there early before the main crowds. Recommend a walk up the clock tower for super views across the city - easy to buy tickets on the day inside (Early Sept) and was not very busy - also includes access to the museum which is interesting to stroll around. Would expect it to be very overcrowded in peak season - 2nd week of Sept was ok and very few children around so easy to see and do all on our agenda.Guest review byTimmyGUnited Kingdom
