- From $252.91 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 325 reviewsThe resort is situated in a beautiful location with volcanoe , Mt Etna always in one’s view. The hotel and golf course are worth the some what stressful drive up to it’s location. Hotel staff were professional, friendly, and caring to guests needs. Food was delicious with reasonable rates. Room with a breathe taking view of a plush vineyard. Ok the golf course. Great staff. Course is in great shape. Greens hard and fast. Fairways mostly narrow bordered by old in bloom leaves. Very little water. Only issue of concern was that fact of two free roaming dogs which I saw running on the back nine. Golf staff assured me both friendly farm dogs. I highly recommend the hotel and golf course.Guest review byBruanUnited States

The staff are extremely kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The facilities are excellent and really allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our stay. The live music every night created such a wonderful atmosphere, and the food at the restaurants was delicious. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this place, only the opposite. It was the perfect way to spend my holidays, and I can’t wait to come back with more of my family.Guest review byVivianeNorway

Taormina is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed...
Taormina is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at. The town is clean, safe and historic. There are lots of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. The beaches are small but lovely. The water is crystal clear at Isola Bella and we spent ages swimming in there. There is a walk up lots of steps to the church and then on to the castle which we really enjoyed. Views on route were stunning. We would also recommend visiting the amphitheatre and go early when it is quieter. The trip to Etna nord was well worth it but take a jumper as cold up there. The Godfather tour is also lovely even if you have never watched the film. The two villages you visit are very old and beautiful. The views again are incredible. We walked most of the time as we were close to the town. The walk down to the beach was lovely and only took 25 minutes. There's a sweet little cafe on route if you need a rest. The sunbeds and parasols are expensive. 50 to 60 euros for 2 beds and umbrella. We sat on towels on public beach.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Giardini-Naxos and the surrounding towns are, however, unusually dirty, with a lot of litter scattered along the streets. The beach, on the other hand, has wonderfully clean and clear water. People are helpful. Traveling around, take time. The only rush is in traffic. If you travel by rental car, it helps to have a good map reader in the passenger seat and a calm mind. Honking is simply a part of the traffic culture. A motorcyclist may pass you on either the right or the left. Focus on the traffic is the most important thing. When choosing a rental car, you should go for one with medium power. Otherwise, it may not make it up the hills. We had a Toyota Yaris 1500 Petrol Hybrid Automatic. It was ok. An automatic gearbox makes driving easier.Guest review byMarikaEstonia - 8.0

Depending what season you are coming, make sure if you will find places open. For example, the surroundings is lovely, but some places didn't open at all on monday and Tuesday and we were just for 4 days there.Guest review byRenataUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The town is wonderful and filled with history. we where lucky enough to visit during their carnival, which is something special especially with children. Even the locals are wonderful, mornings in the piazza's are like from a movie, time moving slowly and everyone talking to each other over a coffee. I loved it and looking forward to visit again.Guest review byAdrianMalta - 10.0
Great location for watching the eruptions!
Great location for watching the eruptions! The town is pretty, with plenty of eating and drinking options, and an easy journey to Catania, Syracusa, Etna and various beaches. Parking is difficult, and the roads are v narrow, so think about a small car.Guest review bySandraUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Bad: - Beds were very uncomfortable. - Toilet creaked and wobbled when you sat down. - Small fridge was musty and never really worked. - walls were thin, you could hear people talking clearly - food was ok but not astounding Good: -Dinning room/ breakfast area was gorgeous, I would return for the views while eating meals. - View from shared balcony was amazing. - Blinds were so impressive they could make a supernova go unnoticed. - great parkingGuest review byBrady - 10.0

Catania is only 15-20 minutes drive by car, depending on the traffic. Acitrezza was peacefull and we found the locals very kind, friendly and open hearted people. We dined well at Tratoria da Federico where we had delicious oysters fresh from local waters. Unfortunatelly there is no posibility to walk alongside the sea more than a few hundred meters.Guest review byDarjaCroatia - 10.0

Giarre and neighbouring Riposto are unspoilt small towns with few tourists. We were the only foreigners wherever we ate. La Tavernetta was our favourite. The seafood market in Riposto was a perfect source for the meals we cooked in our suite. Driving in Sicily is fun as long as you copy the locals. Use Apple maps for navigation - Google maps was useless.Guest review byDuncanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Aci Castello (AC) is located a 15 minute drive from central Catania and therefore is out of the fray, as we say. The AC promenade has stunning scenery and south of AC is home to many lidos i.e., beach resorts. AC is close to Catania City Center, Mt. Etna and Taormina, three must-see attractions. You will need to rent a car or motor scooter as there looked to be very little public transportation in the AC area.Guest review byPeterUnited States
