I stayed here a couple night while looking at a potential property to buy in a neighboring town. Victoria was awesome and makes sure you have everything you need and all questions answered. The breakfast/dinner area is very nice and welcoming and the food is top notch. The area of the Hotel location is private and quiet. The Hotel itself is very beautiful, clean and comforting. I plan on booking again soon as I'll be back to put the final touches on my property purchase. Grazie mille

We were in Italy on an anniversary trip, Termoli was one of our 'on the way' stops while traveling back to Rome. It's the off season there so we had the whole resort to ourselves. Most amenities were closed which is fine because we weren't expecting much anyway. The staff was friendly and the woman who worked down in the kitchen/breakfast area was beyond incredible! We love that there are cats everywhere. I'm pretty sure I booked a room that was in the winterized section of the resort, when we arrived they upgraded us to a Jr. suite free of charge. The room was clean and comfortable.

It was very quiet and had good air conditioning. The view of the seaside was really lovely and it was a short walk to the pedestrian street. The bed was very comfortable. The historic area where this accommodation is located is so beautiful, so clean, with characteristic historic homes that make for one photo opportunity after another.

My stay in Campobasso was nothing short of magical.

My stay in Campobasso was nothing short of magical. This city offers a truly authentic Italian experience—untouched by mass tourism and full of heart. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish felt like it came straight from the farm to the table, bursting with flavor and freshness. If you love genuine, seasonal cuisine, Campobasso will exceed your expectations. I felt incredibly safe throughout my visit. Whether strolling through the historic center or exploring the countryside, the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. What truly made the experience unforgettable were the people. Everyone I met was warm, kind, and genuinely happy to share their culture. It felt like being embraced by a community. If you're looking for a destination that combines authenticity, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality, Campobasso is a must. I can't wait to return!

Termoli was exactly what we hoped for.

Termoli was exactly what we hoped for. A delightful centro storico with winding streets and narrow alleyways overlooking the Adriatic. Across the street, where Iblu rooms is located, is the “new” town. It has a long pedestrian street and several side streets filled with restaurants and shops. Unfortunately we weren’t here long enough to really explore the rest of Termoli. I highly recommend you stay at Iblu rooms. Our room was brand new. It was compact but designed with space for all our bags. Rocco and his family couldn’t have been more helpful.

Most of all I love Agnone because my family originated from this town. It is such a quaint town, high in the mountains with churches dating back to the 1500s. It was also wonderful to see the Marinelli Bell Foundry and take their tour of the traditional way of making bells handed down from father to son. It is the oldest family run businesses in Europe. The view of the surrounding countryside of Agnone is spectacular. There are also impressive Samnite ruins 30 min away near the town of Pietrabbondonte dating back to about 200 B.C. It is a steep incline to get there, but well worth the journey.

There was nothing really to dislike. It is a really comfortable hotel situated next door to the Basilica della Madonna Addolorata. There is also an extensive fitness and well-being centre (which comes at an extra cost but this wasn't my reason for travelling there). Excellent hotel at a bite your hand off price!

It’s not a place that foreign tourists would normally come to but Campobasso is a lovely and friendly small city combining old and new Italian culture and architecture with a youthful university vibe. Great food, great prices compared to Rome, Naples & Sorrento. A pleasant discovery as we were researching family history.

The beach, the Microbar and numerous places to eat.

The beach, the Microbar and numerous places to eat. For 10euro you can get an excellent tuna or greek salad on the beach at lunchtime and the port is beautiful if you are lucky you can see the fishermen come in with their catch. Termoli is small but well worth a few days of your holiday specially if you walk round the castle and see the old streets with the tiny fishermens houses.

AGNONE is great town and can be busy.

AGNONE is great town and can be busy. But like any other Italian town, Sundays are probably not the best time to go of you have limited time. As for the Masseria, it was a little further from the town than I would have like to be. The town is long, I.e. the old town one one side and the new town on the other. It’s walkable and each side has its own cafe. Restaurants are good but Italian dinner time is late and some are closed for “Il Pranzo” (lunch). Tow businesses of note are a pastaccieria (Labbate Mazziotta) for excellent baked goods and “DiNucci” for fresh mozzarella, ricotta and cheese. AGNONE has many churches and of note is St. Marks in the old part of town. AGNONE was once a center for coppersmiths. LaRamera is with a visit…very large with something for everyone including a small museum.

Beautiful city, it was a very nice surprise for us.

Beautiful city, it was a very nice surprise for us. We stayed two days in total instead of one night only because our ferry to Tremiti was cancelled due to bad sea waves. So we had the chance to see more of this great city and it was a very nice surprise indeed. The city centre is very clean, monuments and streets nicely maintained and presented. We stayed in the historic centre, everything is easily reachable by walking distance. The castle and other museums were open till late night (perfect to explore after dinner). Several restaurants and bars for aperitivo and/or dinner with great menus and good prices. We recommend Spirito Divino for an aperitivo by the seaside overlooking the sunset. And Vecchio Stampo for an excellent meat dinner. The seaside and beach are beautiful, I would suggest to go to Cala Sveva beach club, or to the free beach just nearby.
