- From $144.62 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 172 reviewsWe were just passing through but spontaniously decided to make a stop in Sarnano. The hostel is in a great location. Breakfast was nice: there was a choice of salty and sweet food, even fresh fruit and great cafe 😀. The AC worked super. The city is cute, I recomend to go for a walk. Also, we visited three waterfalls nearby. Easy to reach. We had a great dinner at the restaurant down the hostel. I hope we will be passing by again in the near future. Thank youGuest review byAhmad DoinaAustria

Norcia is a town that continues to undergo extensive renovations after a significant earthquake a number of years ago. Each time we return, more and more has been rebuilt and more shops have come back to life. We can't wait to see the main church when it re-opens.Guest review byRichardItaly - 8.0
Quite little town perched on a hill.
Quite little town perched on a hill. A lot of things to see and nice historic buildings. Great place to stop and enjoy the icecream or backery. Central place with townhall and the church 'underneath'.Guest review byJochenGermany - 10.0

Sarnano is wonderful town full of historic buildings and shops and restaurants. The square is fantastic it has loads of seats to watch the world go ! On a Thursday the town is taken over by a market which sells anything you could possibly want from clothes to fresh fruit and veg and hot food trucks as well. If you've never been you are missing a treat !!Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The lake is the core of the place but also some hikes.
The lake is the core of the place but also some hikes. Several activities around the lake: - An adventure park with long (160m) zip lines over the lake. Very professional guides. - Canoe/kayak/paddle surf rental very close to the camping site. - E-bike rental (not tried) - The Lame Rosse hike is a must (easy one, on the shade most of the path) Several restaurants but not many food shops in San Lorenzo al Lago nor FIastra. 100% recommended is the Rifugio di Tribbio. Very good views, food and service. Everything is packed in July weekends though but weekdays are perfect!Guest review bydavidSpain - 8.0
This was just an overnight trip.
This was just an overnight trip. Norcia is still recovering from the earthquake. There is a lot of building/fixing going on in the old city center. To balance that, the people were truly gracious! And the food is delicious! I would have liked to have stayed at least one more full day to explore.Guest review byBrionyUnited States - 10.0

We were based right in the Piazza in the centre of town and the place is stunning. Everything you could want is right there bars restaurants and shops. There's a bank , Post Office , Pharmacy and so much more. Loads to do there I wish we had longer to look around tbh. It has 5 waterfalls very close by National parks and Mountains surrounding you. If you are in the area you should come and visit Sarnano.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Norcia still hasn’t recovered from the earthquakes.
Norcia still hasn’t recovered from the earthquakes. The main square must have been lovely, but is still full of builders. We were there for one night in mid-September and the whole place was a bit dead.Guest review byAnnetteUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Having visited Sarnano many times there was nothing new for us. It is a charming medieval town in a stunning location. There is a handful of decent reasonably priced restaurants. In 15/20 mins you can be at the top of the mountain (by car) and at a lakeside hamlet. Thursday is market day. Free parking in many areas of the town.Guest review byManinasuiUnited Kingdom
