This hotel was literally in Sorrento City Centre! The train station was just a 7 min walk if you want to visit Pompeii. We also had a great bakery and supermarket just next door. Breakfast was also good with loads of sweet options and mini pancakes. The room was spotless and comfortable. Highly recommend it.

This was a gem in Amalfi! It is steps from the ferry (and they even walked our luggage for us to the hotel). They arranged a driver at a reasonable price from the Naples airport and held our luggage after check-out so we could explore Amalfi and go to a pizza making class. The room was modern, beautiful and had an amazing location with so few steps compared to our other Amalfi Coast stays. The staff were kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

The location of this hotel is amazing. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to restaurants. We didn’t realize this hotel had a pool, which was an awesome perk! The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, making us to-go breakfast packages when we had early mornings. As well, the breakfast menu was amazing, very large selection and every thing tasted amazing.

Service was excellent! 10+. Personalized, friendly, warm. Could not have asked for more from the caring and skilled staff, waiters, bartender. The property is absolutely lovely, set on a hill with the most beautiful views of Positano (no exaggeration)! It was exceptionally clean outdoors and indoors, and our suite with large terrace was very spacious, private, quiet, and modern. It is a small villa but is fully complete with amenities and services. My son brought his drone and took great photos from above.

Amazing view. Located in Scala that provides a more peaceful location and yet, short walk or drive to Ravello and Amalfi. Hotel is at a cliff with amazing views. The hotel facilities are great. Rooms are clean and breakfast is rich and tasty. But as always, the staff is the important thing. Always in attention, helping, making all that is possible to give you the royal treatment and little pleasures

I love every minute of staying in this hotel. I see lots of hotel in my life and even work in 5 star properties. But this hotel is a true gem, it’s the place where you want to come again and bring all your family and friends just to share that amazing experience with the loved ones. It’s the type of hotel where people come in generations with rich history but feels very modern. Food was a true Italian masterpiece, breakfast exceptional, everything was so delicious. The beach and the way to water so cinematic. The room cleaning and amenities are on high level of standard. The people who work there are truly love this hotel and make the every way possible for you to feel welcome and happy and 0 stress. After living in a big city this hotel tells like I connecting to nature and myself again. We take a short trip to Positano 15 minutes on water taxi which is just an amazing way to see the stunning views from water. Thank you to each and everyone who make this hotel operate and be such a dream place to stay.

The view of the water was incredible, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, the staff friendly, the room clean and comfortable. Vietri has a convenient ferry stop that links you to Maiori, Minori, Amalfi, Positano, Capri, etc. This was the easiest way for us to get around as the bus does not often stop at the Vietri bus stop and parking is so limited that we did not want to rent a car. The town of Vietri is easily accessed through the back gate of the hotel and down the hill. There are yummy restaurants only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We loved our stay at Hotel Voce Del Mare and recommended it!

Kind of "Old style hotel", which cares about their guests. * Very delicious food in evening (half board very recommended) * Very nice and careful staff (esp. restaurant) * Room was clean and well prepared * Quite nights, even as we had the room nearby the street * Very interesting view to the harbor and sea (especially if you travel with kids) * good connection to public transportation (bus to Salerno and other locations at Amalfi coast stops in front of hotel - recommendation is to travel to that area by train (Salerno) without any car * nice walk in the evening to Vietri

The sunset view with Capri in view drew us in and it did NOT disappoint. AMAZING. The food was top-shelf. Staff were incredibly helpful, they even put a food box together in a rush for us the last morning as our taxi driver arrived early and was inpatient with us. I can’t say enough good things. We are already planning a return and Relais Blu will be included. Getting to the property from either Sorrento or Positano is tricky, and likely means a €60-120 cab ride either way, but it is SO SO worth it.

First time in Sorrento and always been on my list.

First time in Sorrento and always been on my list. Great place to explore Italian coast. Boat trips to Capri and Positano excellent. Train to Pompeii for tour was excellent. Love the town of Sorrento, busy and lots of tourists but somehow feels leisurely. People polite and restaurants excellent and good value with a range catering from budget to expensive, but all value for money. Loved it!

The steps everywhere were a challenge.

The steps everywhere were a challenge. The biggest disappointment was the huge amount of tourists. It was like visiting a festival or Disneyland. There were a couple restaurants that were quite good. My adult daughter enjoyed her hikes; one in Amalfi behind cemetery & other in Altara(?). I'm sure it's easy to get around without the maddening crowd; but it was a turnoff upon arrival to face this, so unexpected. I was there to try and find some information on descendants, but man in office wouldn't help me, kept saying "no capice," and shooed me out of there.

    We loved where we stayed.

We loved where we stayed. Last year, we visited the Amalfi Coast which was beautiful. This year we went to Capri, which was amazing. The local shops were great and the people are very friendly and helpful. We ate locally or cooked and had a few favourite spots. It was easy to walk around where we stayed, for longer trips we had the rental car. We could ask our host for directions and tips on where to visit.

We think Vietri is the best place to stay on the Amalfi coast. It is easy to reach (most other towns are a pain to drive to), and is a great place to explore from, with Pompeii only 25 mins drive and Herculaneum around 35 minutes, all motorway. The town itself is very authentic and prices are reasonable compared to the better known places. The boat service to other Amalfi towns is regular and easy to use without being too expensive (€25 return to Amalfi for 2 people) - we enjoyed the boat trips as much as the towns which were generally heaving with tourists, I’d hate to think what high season is like

Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro.

Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro. It’s a must-try experience—the pizza is delicious, authentic, and the portions are perfect for sharing. Where we ate: Most of the time, we enjoyed a mix—some meals at home, plenty of pizza at Pizza al Metro, lunches and snacks while out on the boat, and groceries from Conad when we wanted something simple. Getting around: Getting around Vico Equense is very easy—if you have a car. The roads are manageable, parking is available with some planning, and driving makes it simple to explore the surrounding towns and coast. Without a car, moving around could be more challenging. Fun activities for groups of friends: Visiting Positano – an absolute must for its iconic views, boutique shops, and vibrant atmosphere. Exploring Pompeii – a fascinating and powerful experience, especially with a good guide. Renting a boat – one of the highlights, giving us the freedom to enjoy the coastline, swim in hidden spots, and see the Amalfi Coast from the sea. Overall, Vico Equense was a perfect base for both relaxation and adventure—amazing food, convenient location, and plenty of activities for groups of friends.

Amazing city with very nice restaurants and great ferry connection. It was a very good decision for us to stay in a smaller city, because Maiori has a fantastic beach, it was not that busy, but we still had access to all the bigger cities on the coast.

Our stay at Ristorante Hotel La Primavera could not have been better. The room and hotel were wonderful. The food was great. Best of all the service was 5 star! My wife and I were treated like special guests and family the entire time. Claudio, Nino, Luigi, and Marina and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. We will miss them and hope to see them one day again!

Driving is highly not recommended, roads are very, very narrow with a lot of turns, very nerve wrecking. The area is beautiful and worth visiting over and over. Great scenery, great food. Just don’t drive.
