This was an exceptional stay where we felt we were constantly discovering new levels of luxury. We were incredibly lucky to receive a free room upgrade; the space was generous and featured a lovely panoramic day bed and a balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the entire room was well-appointed. The wellness area is outstanding. We loved the variety of saunas, particularly the Finnish sauna followed by the snow room. Swimming in the heated outdoor pool at night was a wonderful experience. The food was also a highlight; both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a great mix of buffet options and freshly cooked items. Finally, the staff deserve a special mention for being so attentive and super helpful throughout our stay.

In this family owend hotel staff was amazing, understaning, very welcoming and also very helpful. The room had a great wiew, it was spaciuos, very clean and also cozy bozy 🙂, breakfast was great and there was something for everyone, also we chose a stay with dinner included and it was better than any restaurant so if you are debating if you should choose your stay with dinner options i would highly recommend it especially after long day of skiing. You also have free parking in front of the hotel which is great. The hotel is about 15 minute drive from Reischach parking from which you can take gondola to the top of the Kronplatz. Everything was perfect and this hotel really had a key role in our beautifull active vacation, we will sure come again!

I travel a lot for pleasure and work and The Majestic has been, without a doubt, one of the best hotels I have ever been to. From the initial welcome with Prosseco and a salad buffet to the goodbye with a nice little gift, our stay was absolutely fantastic. The facilities and rooms are great in one of the most beautiful areas we have visited. Special thanks to Germán, Leonardo, Zeeshan and the tall gentleman at reception, who looked after us extremely well. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable 😍😍 We highly recommend this hotel.

beautiful hotel in a lovely location. the staff look after the guests really well, they all very friendly and obliging. the food was always excellent - and often quite creative - clearly using a lot of local products. We went here for walking - and this was a perfect place to start walks - or a short drive away. Gorgeous walks all around. Also well placed to go to visit local castles and such like on rainy days.

It was modern facility with nice fit out , spacious rooms with smart layout and beautiful view on the mountains. Downstairs is nice restaurant with Italian cuisine. Personal was super friendly and helpful especially considering we were traveling with small kid. Also if you seek for property with good accessibility by car and real ski to door experience put this to your short list

Nice and quiet location by the lake. Very nice staff. Very good dinner with options and the staff is always happy to accomodate variations to the menu for kids or special requests. Breakfast is also good. The room was big and very clean. Parking available. We had a great time!

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.

This was a great location with easy drives to Lago Braies (30 min) and Tre Cime (one hour). The town itself was small, but filled with restaurants and shops. The views were beautiful. And while we played golf at Alta Badia (one hour drive and best views), there is a golf course right around the corner from this hotel that looks pretty great as well. The area was a great home base to go to many different popular sites.

Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.

A very neat, clean and perfectly organized city with Austrian organization and Italian flair. The feeling of security is very high, there are no beggars, no suspicious men. The stores sell excellent goods, there are no cheap stores like New Yorker, generally there are no international brands, but that's why you find very high quality goods at reasonable prices. The food is gastronomic, and the prices are acceptable. The architecture is first class.

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other...

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other villages in the surrounding area. This is because it is a bit bigger than most and has more traditional town layout (instead of being village lined out next to the main street). Architecture is mostly traditional, which gives it the right alpine village vibe. There is a good choice for places to eat and a decent SPAR store. Ski lift is nearby. It seems that every other house is a hotel or a guest house, so finding the right accommodation should be fairly easy.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied. There are also clothes shops and even a shoe repair place. The museum at the Tourist Information is well worth a visit and you will learn about the Roman history of the town. You can also go on organised walks and tours which explores the local history. The roads are narrow and parking is limited but buses and trains are very good. The restaurant in the square is well worth a visit and is famous for its Pizzas.

Very small quiet village.

Very small quiet village. Picturesque and such friendly local people. Not many facilities in the village, one small supermarket, couple of hotels but only one with a restaurant for outside guests and they only served pizza. Cafe/Bar Val is a great place to sit and enjoy drinks at the end of the day or for coffee/breakfast. Super friendly staff who were lovely. Local language of ladin spoken or German. Don't go expecting people to speak English to you! We got by with German and a spattering of Italian but that is why we also loved it as prefer to be immersed in the culture. Piculin gondola just down the road which gave access to Kronplatz ski area. Takes about 45 mins to get over to main Platz . Badia Abtei lift about 15 mins further up which gave you access to La Villa via lifts and runs and La Villa and gondola about 25 mins further on. Ski bus seem to run frequently, although we drove so didn't use it. Parking in La Villa was 4 euros for the day. We also drove to Brunneck and picked up main gondola to Kronplatz from there. More direct to access slopes but a good 30 min drive. Lots of supermarkets in Brunneck but parking a nightmare. Use MPrice at the bottom of Piculin gondola, has everything you need.
