Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The cleanliness was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff, and the food at the restaurant was simply fantastic. The chef deserves special praise—every dish was delicious and carefully prepared. The owner was very kind and made sure we were always satisfied. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with quality mattresses. The hotel's location offers a beautiful view of the surrounding nature, which you can also enjoy from the sauna in the wellness area. Honestly the photos in booking.com does not give the true impression about this hotel. It’s much better in reality. The food is excellent, the spa and swimming pool are the best , the staff are very friendly and very professional. Coming in winter and experiencing to swim while the snow is surrounding you is worth coming to this place. It’s very safe place , I forgot my car key inside the car for a full night and doors were open and no one bother even to get close to my car.

The overall atmoshere, coziness, staff approach, spa and food quality. We felt like at home. There are certain opinions that spa area is not big enough for the hotel size. I have to say - never during the whole week had I any problem with sauna or jacuzzi occupation. No problem indeed

Nice and quiet location by the lake. Very nice staff. Very good dinner with options and the staff is always happy to accomodate variations to the menu for kids or special requests. Breakfast is also good. The room was big and very clean. Parking available. We had a great time!

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.

This was a great location with easy drives to Lago Braies (30 min) and Tre Cime (one hour). The town itself was small, but filled with restaurants and shops. The views were beautiful. And while we played golf at Alta Badia (one hour drive and best views), there is a golf course right around the corner from this hotel that looks pretty great as well. The area was a great home base to go to many different popular sites.

San Vigillio is small place, in a long rather narrow valley in south Tirol. It is very much tourism oriented, with several hotels, restaurants and shops. We went in summer and it was hot during the day, and refreshing during the night, with light refreshing breeze during hottest parts of the day. (We were during the heat wave in Europe.) If you like to walk, hike or climb, this is a good place to be.

Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.

lovely area with stunning mountains but be aware that you need to pre-book parking for a lot of actives! and be prepared that there will be lots of other tourists around; it sometimes gets tedious to squeeze through them.

Small village, can not say such about what you can do on foot in the area as it was raining the whole time we were visiting. If you have a car, the location is not bad, (N/A for ski as we didn't try it this time)

A very neat, clean and perfectly organized city with...

A very neat, clean and perfectly organized city with Austrian organization and Italian flair. The feeling of security is very high, there are no beggars, no suspicious men. The stores sell excellent goods, there are no cheap stores like New Yorker, generally there are no international brands, but that's why you find very high quality goods at reasonable prices. The food is gastronomic, and the prices are acceptable. The architecture is first class.

Had the best stay at hotel

Had the best stay at hotel Mareo while doing hikes in east Dolomites- not far from the best places to see and an absolutely perfect place to come home to. Unbelievable. Hotel aesthetics were top notch and town is v cute. Pool is incredible and staff is super friendly. Couldn’t recommend more , 10/10.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied. There are also clothes shops and even a shoe repair place. The museum at the Tourist Information is well worth a visit and you will learn about the Roman history of the town. You can also go on organised walks and tours which explores the local history. The roads are narrow and parking is limited but buses and trains are very good. The restaurant in the square is well worth a visit and is famous for its Pizzas.
