Elena’s property was stellar! If I could give her 100 stars, I would! Elena was a wonderful host; she met us, told us where to park and took us to our apartment. Our room had two windows; one overlooked the quaint street, and the other a beautiful view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment itself was a perfect size for my husband and me. Each morning, we went down one flight of stairs to the kitchen where Antonella was waiting to pamper us with coffee, cappuccino, cornetto, juice, and granola. Besides the Bed & Breakfast, Elena has a restaurant called Rupp Diun. All I can say is W.O.W! We told Elena our food preferences, (I am a vegetarian, for example), and she totally customized the meal that she prepared. Elena has a gift for making you feel like family. We ate at Rupp Diun multiple times because when the food is that good, why go anywhere else! It was fun to meet Elena's family and friends throughout our stay! Full disclosure: my grandmother was born in Colobraro in 1897, and I am on a mission to find out anything I can about my Italian roots. I probably would not have visited Colobraro if not for my grandmother, but what a shame that would have been. Elena and her friend Maria were extremely helpful in guiding me with my search. This beautiful, welcoming hill-top town with the most charming people should be on the bucket list of those that are looking to immerse themselves in Italian culture and history. I hope I am lucky enough to be able to make my way back to this charming city that is filled with townspeople that welcome you with enthusiasm and pride that leaves you with a longing to return. Centrally located. Beautiful space in the back, with trees and mountains.

Amazing staff who greeted us warmly and were very helpful. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner with them and WOW, everything so fresh, home-made and delicious. The place is super well located, right in front of the town hall. It's quiet, comfortable, will be back one day! Grazie!

Great stay! The property was cozy and clean it was ready for our late arrival, with the room already warmed up. The owner was extremely attentive—we even enjoyed a nice conversation over a glass of wine at the bar and bought some local organic produce. Delicious breakfast, plenty of parking, and a convenient location near the highway. Thanks to the info from the owner, we’d love to come back in the summer to experience the rafting season in the region. Highly recommended!

The warm welcome. The cosy village. The kindness of all the people there. The nice museum. The walks in the Pollino Park. The cows around. The dinners with fagioli di Rotonda and peperoni cruschi at the local redtaurant. The typical red melanzana.
