Second time I have stayed here. It's a lovely hotel in the countryside, the rooms are lovely, comfortable,, minimal and clean, with a modern design aesthetic. The hotel as a lovely pool which is great for a pre or post work swim, and has amazing views of the mountain. The restaurant is great, modern Italian food, using delicious locally sourced seasonal produce. Very quiet as well which is nice.

Position close to the center. Firenze easy to reach by car. Big parking right in front of the hotel. Staff very friendly and supportive. Great breakfast for all tastes. Strong wifi. Rooms clean, modern, confortable, well fitted for a 4 star , even coffee machine. Beds very confortable. A nice bar restaurant. A great choice for Prato. We would come back with pleasure. 10

Perfect location, just outside the wall, but excellent access to train station. Great room, clean and light with a perfect view over the river and views of the hills make for a terrific sunrise. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection of offerings and the staff welcoming and highly professional. I would stay here again in a heartbeat as you can access Florence and surrounding areas with ease. Prato has much on offer including superb restaurants, bars and shops. The textile museum and the Pecci museum are very much worth the visit.

Breakfast was absolutely yummy with a lot of choices. The villa is stunning, our room was very comfortable, clean and we had everything that we needed for a relaxed vacation. The pool is big enough, the garden is dreamy. All (literally) ALL the furnitures and decorations are beautiful. I couldn’t be more happier to chose this villa from all! I definitely want to bring back my Mom as a surprise.

We loved staying at Tenuta La Borriana - it was truly an amazing stay! The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Even though there was a wedding going on, there was still enough space for us to enjoy the landscape views and nature. The hosts were lovely and they offered us exceptional Italian breakfast and they also have their own wine to taste and to buy!

Excellent location just 2 mins walk from station. Lovely peaceful area with so many restaurants and bars around. Florence is just 3 stops away from the station. Hotel is run by a family business which are very helpful and lovely people. Hotel was clean . I would definitely recommend this hotel to others .

Prato has a lot of historic buildings, with lots of bars,...

Prato has a lot of historic buildings, with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants hiding up side streets and in the squares. There’s also a large modern art gallery just outside - worth a visit if you like that kind of art. The railway station is a hub to get to all major cities - we travelled from Rome and then went on to visit Florence, Bologna and Pisa cheaply and easily.

Loved our stay at this property in Montemurlo no doubt, but you definitely need a car to get around as it is very industrial area and shops are a little too distant to walk to. On a positive note, there is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food in a warm & appealing dining room that is situated right under the Relais Villa Scarfantoni B&B property. Best spot to have this restaurant right on the premises. We ate there all the time during our stay. It was delicious! Also, experienced a hair salon to get my hair done for a wedding, I have never experienced such a hair wash like that ever before. The hairdressers were all super nice & really did magic to my hair for a wedding I was going to! Kudos to Totapulchra Manila Parruccieri Unisex (5 stars)

Lovely town with history, culture, shops and restaurants. Always nice to wander century old cobblestone streets exploring what locals experience every day. Easy to get around on foot. Train station easy to find and use. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Room was clean and comfortable. Shower and bathroom was ok too. My biggest gripe was the owner or whoever we were speaking to for the reservation. We had said that we were coming earlier because we had a very early morning flight to get there and we would appreciate if we could check in earlier. They said no very abruptly and even in later messages just fobbed us off. Because of that we spent longer to get to the hotel so we would not just be waiting there. Then when we got there the owner said "Oh I thought you said you were coming earlier!". When we got there the hotel was SO quiet it seemed as if no one was staying there at all! Also the swimming pool looks lovely in the photos but when we arrived there it was a swamp green colour and not very nice at all! We were also very hungry and when we asked if there was something we could eat we were just told that the restaurant is closed and to wait until 7pm or go to a supermarket. In the morning when we checked out I went to give my key and the owner was just very direct and not very friendly. The hotel is ok but really the owner has let it down. Shame really.

Very beautiful old walled Renaissance City very close to both Florence and Pistoia so not only very rewarding to explore in itself but also the perfect touring base for Tuscany. Lots of good value cafes and restaurants in the City Centre. Everywhere very walkable
