What I liked: Everything! The young lady that accompanied us to our trullo was very kind and helpful. We could park our car in a closed parking lot even after check out. The location was perfect as it was just a few minutes from the center of town. The trullo was absolutely adorable and decorated with great attention to detail. The temperature in the room was also perfect. It was clean and there were two bottles of water for us in the fridge, free of charge. The breakfast cafè was very close by and opened early which was good for us. The staff was very friendly and the breaksfast was wonderful!

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond at every step to make our stay special. The room quality was spectacular, blending luxury and comfort seamlessly. Staying in a palazzo built in 1557 was a unique experience; the renovations beautifully preserved its historical charm while adding modern, high-end touches. Breakfast in the courtyard was a highlight, with delicious and fresh offerings that made each morning delightful. The staff were consistently attentive and friendly, making us feel truly valued as guests. The entire staff was outstanding, not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable. They kept us informed and offered excellent suggestions on where to go and what to do in and around the city. They even went the extra mile by providing tips for the next city we were staying in, making our travels even more enjoyable.     Ok so we booked The Corvino resourt centrally to Monopoli so we could tour La Puglia on our motorcycles. In this respect its an ideal location but otherwise its a 15 minute drive to the old town centre of Monopoli. On the other hand Pongiana al Mare, Ostuno, Locorotunda, Alberobello, Lecce and Matera are all the nice idylic old towns easily accessible by driving from the Corvino. The old town of Monopoli is quite amazing with its imposing 'Duomo' cathedral and big square full of restaurants and brasseries, even a great Japanese restaurant there too offering great Sushi! The Via Garibaldi below this square is also adorned with boutique shops for shopping the known fashion names too. Its parking facilities are fantastic with 24/7 security guard watch which is exactly why we booked the Corvino as we wanted secure parking for our classic motorcycles! They, the Security staff, Ormando and the rest are very nice and helpful and we enjoyed talking to them as we went in and out of this resort, they even organised our taxies for us too!! The bedroom was a bit small but clean, bathroom was fine too if you don't mind hitting your elbows on the shower's glass doors as you shower ;) Unfortunately they gave us a room which was way too far away from the reception and restaurant in the resort. Conversely we were very close to the beach and their Lido, which in September was closed down!! Most of the facilities at the Corvino had closed down by now, no pizzeria too... this is endemic to Italy in general as after their 'ferroagusto' month long national holiday everything starts to close down anyway. The Lido Bar was supposed to be open but I think only short hours during the day. The in house restaurant served us Breakfast and dinner on a buffet self-service which was plentiful and the food was generally quite good too! The hotel Staff were very nice and courteous to us and Alessandro helped us in every way too.

    The territory is huge and very green. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are plenty of sunbeds and space at the beach, and the sea is crystal clear. Several heated pools with slides and a splash park were definitely great fun for the whole family. The buffet was not excessive and more focused on quality over quantity. The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. The kids' club staff was especially wonderful! Very attentive, friendly, and competent. Always greeting the little ones by name, with a big smile and so much warmth.

    Lecce is a great base.

    Lecce is a great base. It is a point of interest in itself but is also very centrally located to access Otranto and Gallipoli easily. Great restaurants but most open after 7pm which seemed odd not to adjust this based on the tourists they are serving - comment I heard from many.

    Very unique experience. The Trulli Houses are amazing. There's plenty of restaurants and shopping. The shopping covers the gamut from souvenirs to luxury items. It's a walking city so bring your walking shoes!

    Amazing city. So many good restaurants. Churches all so beautiful. Felt very safe there too. Easy to get around. Quaint old town with cobbled streets, lively fish markets and stunning beaches. Gallipoli definitely offers a unique mix of relaxation and adventure.

    Laid back seaside town. Cafe Mada near the station serves beautiful baked snacks (peanut free) and quality coffee at good prices. The Appian Way columns were an impressive sight. We missed out on walking along the main promenade which looks a nice thing to do.

    Vieste is really interesting and pretty old town and the people are friendly. Good standard of restaurants and not overpriced. There's a port where we hired a boat or you can get a boat trip. Some parts are very steep but worth walking up for the views. We stayed on the beach, a 25 min walk in along the beach but worth it or there's a bus for 2 euros p.p Would definitely recommend it :)
