NetherlandsIt was a really nice accommodation. Super clean and beautiful. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the nice view. We could see the sea and the volcano from the terrace. There basic needs like water, milk and coffee were already there, they keep everything clean and give new towels every day. When you arrive or check-out take a taxi (golf car, much fun) for a small fee so you don’t have to walk with your luggage. But everything is on walking distance, even with kids.

United KingdomI could happily live here! The best place we stayed in Sicily and wish we'd stayed longer. The owners (and their dog) are welcoming and generous, the private outdoor space with the beach with its views of Strombolicchio is stunning, and the house has everything you could want or ask for. It's a short walk to the harbour but still quiet and tranquil. We loved it, and have already recommended it to friends and family.

The property was gorgeous. It felt very new and fresh and clean. The bathroom in particular was pristinely clean with a great spacious shower. The room was spacious and air conditioned with a lovely shared courtyard with a private outdoor seating space. It was a quick 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town. Our only regret was not staying longer. Highly recommend a stay here.

Stromboli is one of a kind to check out an active volcano.
Stromboli is one of a kind to check out an active volcano. It also has surprisingly nice beaches. The island is lacking some tourist infrastructure. There is no place to rent snorkel equipment, for example. Food is a little pricier than mainland but nothing too outrageous.

We walked up the mountain without a guide to around 300...
We walked up the mountain without a guide to around 300 Metres. A tough climb but coming back in the dark is also difficult t pays to have headlamps... we used our cell phone torches which was a bit limiting.
The experience and views were breathing taking especially at sunset..
