The hotel is located on the coastline with a very small private black sand beach, and a swimming overlooking the ocean and beach. it has very beautiful and spacious public areas, a few restaurants, lounges sitting places, sofa bed, all facing either the ocean or the Stromboli volcano. the property has very beautiful gardens, and many plants it is absolutely beautiful just walk around. The room is very basic, but with such spacious and optional choice of public areas, I think no one will stay in the room during their stay. The hotel is 10-15mins walk to the town center or pier, so very easy to walk around.

Just 150 metres from the port, the Ossidiana is located right next to a volcanic-sand beach in the fishermen’s neighbourhood of Scari.

Very friendly welcome with lots of useful information regarding restaurants and trips. The hotel is in a residential area and is very quiet. The bed/pillows were really comfortable and we slept extremely well. We had our dog with us and they accommodated our needs with regards to when they could clean. We had one dinner and one lunch there and each tine the food was simple but cooked well and very tasty. Breakfast had a good choice and the coffee was excellent. We were helped with all the requests we had during our one week stay - thank you!

I could happily live here! The best place we stayed in Sicily and wish we'd stayed longer. The owners (and their dog) are welcoming and generous, the private outdoor space with the beach with its views of Strombolicchio is stunning, and the house has everything you could want or ask for. It's a short walk to the harbour but still quiet and tranquil. We loved it, and have already recommended it to friends and family.
