- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 571 reviewsWe are a family of four who stayed for five nights, from December 25–30, during our ski trip. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The in-house ski rental was incredibly convenient, and the ski room downstairs, equipped with three racks of boot dryers and plenty of space, made storing our gear hassle-free. The hotel offers a reliable ski bus service to and from Col Alto and Boe. Even during the busiest times, we never waited more than 10–15 minutes. Since we booked with half board, we were assigned a fixed table for breakfast and dinner, which we found quite convenient. The dinners were delicious, with a great selection from the buffet and the menu. The wine we ordered was excellent and reasonably priced. We also loved the pool and sauna, which could be reserved via the app. Using these facilities every day after skiing was a highlight of our trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and hardworking, ensuring we felt welcome throughout our stay. The WiFi speed was good enough for streaming YouTube videos without any issues. I had read some negative reviews before our stay but found none of them to be true—they must have addressed those concerns by now. Skiing in Alta Badia is a fantastic experience, and this hotel complemented it perfectly. We’ll definitely be back in the future!Guest review byLeonUnited States
- From QAR 1,025.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,079 reviewsThe view was amazing. The staff were so helpful and kind-Monica was particularly helpful...I was able to swim in the lake daily.. The rowboats were fun and the boat staff were helpful. The beauty of the setting is beyond words. The reflection of the mountains and trees in the turquoise water was breathtaking and constantly changing. The restaurant staff, including Ali and Elias and Simon and the housekeeping team, including Janna, were all excellent. The reception staff including Monica and Massimo were lovely. The folkst at the store, especially Roberto, were very kind and they carry good quality gifts. The owners have gone out of their way to honor the history, heritage, and traditions of the space while at the same creating a wonderful hotel in a amazing setting.Guest review byEllenUnited States

The hotel is located on the top of the hill, with an amazing view of the green fields. The food is nothing but PERFECT, we waited every day for the dinner to come!! Amazing amazing amazing!! Outside pool was really nice, gym is small but packed with dumbells and multi trainer. Indoor pool and jaccuzi were very good, the jacuzzi can be warmer, but it was ok. The landscape and food are the most incredible advantages of this hotel, we didnt want to leave! A big thanks to Fabian and Philip, and the women waitress was very kind! If we ever arrive at the Dolomites again, we will definitely come back!!!Guest review byEranIsrael

I had half board and the dinner is excellent with endless choices. The waitstaff are wonderful, especially Giuseppe! He made me feel at home. I am an older, woman traveling alone and he was very attentive to make sure I had what I needed. The “Robe Tunnel “ is fabulous. Great towels, great robes. I could go on and on.Guest review byMary LouiseItaly

The museums were well laid out and interesting, also reasonably priced. It was a lot busier than we were expecting & less friendly than other Italian cities. There were many shops, quite pricey, as well as a variety of street stalls, so a busy bustling City.Guest review bysusanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine. Of course, there are the local & famous walkways, the mountain hikes, bike trails, and the Dolomites are nearby. On rainy days, there are castles, the Terme spa/pools. Overall, it's a very nice town with a lot to do.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 8.0
This is further to my previous review on Garni Rives.
This is further to my previous review on Garni Rives. I gave the hotel a review that reflects my honest opinion, mainly about the manager/host of the hotel. Obviously my review was not received with warmth from the hotel manager. He messaged me immediately via Whatsapp and blamed me being not polite to him, I have no idea where does this come from. I believe he has broken the golden rule of being in me the hospitality industry, if he cannot accept honest reviews, how can he improve to thrive on? The hotel itself is OK and the only problem I have is the steep climb (not the hotel's fault) and mainly the manager's manner.Guest review byAnthonyAustralia - 10.0

For those who may not know, Val Gardena is comprised of three distinct areas; Selva, Ortisei and Santa Cristina. My advice on where to stay is to try and figure out which mountain ranges you plan on hitting. That said, all three locations are very close together, and you can access them all within ten minute on the same bus. Personally, I would stick to Selva or Ortisei simply because of their access to vastly different mountain areas. Santa Cristina is snuggled between the two and didn't have as much to offer, IMO.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.Guest review byJurajCroatia - 10.0

Castelrotto/Kasteruth is a delightful town set in beautiful surroundings and is we thought just the right size. Large enough to have two supermarkets , a number of choices for restaurants/Cafes , a Pharmacy , a number of clothes shopping opportunities but small enough that we never felt over crowded. It is delightful to see young children laughing their way off to school early morning. And there is a Gelato shop! There is a brand new lift that goes up to several delightful mountain walks at 1,500 metres , as I recall, and a restaurant and play area for children at the top.Guest review bySteveW57Australia
