- From $280.61 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,078 reviewsThe view was amazing. The staff were so helpful and kind-Monica was particularly helpful...I was able to swim in the lake daily.. The rowboats were fun and the boat staff were helpful. The beauty of the setting is beyond words. The reflection of the mountains and trees in the turquoise water was breathtaking and constantly changing. The restaurant staff, including Ali and Elias and Simon and the housekeeping team, including Janna, were all excellent. The reception staff including Monica and Massimo were lovely. The folkst at the store, especially Roberto, were very kind and they carry good quality gifts. The owners have gone out of their way to honor the history, heritage, and traditions of the space while at the same creating a wonderful hotel in a amazing setting.Guest review byEllenUnited States
- From $708.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 269 reviewsWe had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the warm, attentive staff made us feel right at home—truly “bombastic” in the best possible way. The spa is simply magnificent, offering the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Just steps from the hotel, a magical forest beckons you for a peaceful morning walk. We were also delighted by the dedicated sports and yoga area, thoughtfully designed to help you reconnect with yourself. Everywhere you look, the hotel’s care and attention to detail shine through. As their slogan promises, it really is “Hard to find, hard to forget.” An exceptional place to unplug, unwind, and recharge—highly recommended! A huge thank you to the owners for their care and for this place!Guest review byDmitriiRussia
- From $272.42 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 178 reviewsThis is the highest value for money we ever had. The hotel is located on the top of the hill, with an amazing view of the green fields. The food is nothing but PERFECT, we waited every day for the dinner to come!! Amazing amazing amazing!! Outside pool was really nice, gym is small but packed with dumbells and multi trainer. Indoor pool and jaccuzi were very good, the jacuzzi can be warmer, but it was ok. The landscape and food are the most incredible advantages of this hotel, we didnt want to leave! A big thanks to Fabian and Philip, and the women waitress was very kind! If we ever arrive at the Dolomites again, we will definitely come back!!!Guest review byEranIsrael

The museums were well laid out and interesting, also reasonably priced. It was a lot busier than we were expecting & less friendly than other Italian cities. There were many shops, quite pricey, as well as a variety of street stalls, so a busy bustling City.Guest review bysusanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine.
There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine. Of course, there are the local & famous walkways, the mountain hikes, bike trails, and the Dolomites are nearby. On rainy days, there are castles, the Terme spa/pools. Overall, it's a very nice town with a lot to do.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0

Because of the two gondolas accessible in town, we were able to explore both sides and experience a variety of terrain, none extremely challenging which worked for our various fitness levels. The views are stupendous and the convenience of the huts along the trails for lunch, a drink or even a break from the rain were fantastic. We didn't need to worry about packing snacks or lunches, and instead enjoyed reasonably priced, delicious meals along our hikes.Guest review byCarmenUnited States - 10.0
For those who may not know, Val Gardena is comprised of...
For those who may not know, Val Gardena is comprised of three distinct areas; Selva, Ortisei and Santa Cristina. My advice on where to stay is to try and figure out which mountain ranges you plan on hitting. That said, all three locations are very close together, and you can access them all within ten minute on the same bus. Personally, I would stick to Selva or Ortisei simply because of their access to vastly different mountain areas. Santa Cristina is snuggled between the two and didn't have as much to offer, IMO.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.
Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.Guest review byJurajCroatia - 10.0

Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town. There is a train station for trips to other nearby towns or into Austria. The bus service is excellent. You can go for hikes up the Dolomites and reach the famous three peaks. So much to do. The drinking water is amazing.Guest review byMonica - 10.0

Castelrotto/Kasteruth is a delightful town set in beautiful surroundings and is we thought just the right size. Large enough to have two supermarkets , a number of choices for restaurants/Cafes , a Pharmacy , a number of clothes shopping opportunities but small enough that we never felt over crowded. It is delightful to see young children laughing their way off to school early morning. And there is a Gelato shop! There is a brand new lift that goes up to several delightful mountain walks at 1,500 metres , as I recall, and a restaurant and play area for children at the top.Guest review bySteveW57Australia
