- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,283 reviewsThis was an amazing few nights stay for us. The resort is fabulous, located by the beach, little chalets are between pines trees. The chalet we had was perfect for our family of 5. There is plenty to do for the kids. Pools were very busy but we didn’t mind as the beach and sea was what we preferred. Our son was the only speaking child in the kids club ( this was. A group for 10 year olds) but the person looking after the group (Abdullah) made sure that our boys felt included and had a great time. The Italian boys were also very welcoming and super kind and so my son had a very good time. We loved the evening entertainment. Food was a bit meh, for Italian beautiful food standards but it was fresh and overall ok for few days (I am not sure I would be happy if we stayed over the week 😀 the cook really needs to learn how to make scrambled eggs. But the omlettes were good). The little shop on the facilities was just great for daily groceries. Overal amazing!Guest review byAlexandraUnited Arab Emirates
- From $67.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,412 reviewsIt’s very cute and quaint with a variety of camping types (personal tents and campers but also rentable mobile homes and tent houses). I love that there is not auto traffic though the campground which makes it quiet and safe for walking. The mobile home we rented was clean and comfortable. All linens were included which was appreciated as we were traveling by bike. The beach was really nice and the water was very shallow for a long ways out.Guest review byJeffrey HarrItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,088 reviewsImpeccably run campsite on beach in remote, non-touristy area. We admired the design of our 5 person lodge tent, with 2 BR and BA, full kitchen and deck. Great private restaurant on grounds and a store, very quiet, friendly. The area seemed safe since no one locked up their bikes except electric bikes. Good compact design of site, not too far to walk to the beach.Guest review byJetdelUnited States

I loved Florence-Firenze, we saw all the local attractions in the old town; Duomo, David at the Accadamia Museum & took a few trips out to Tuscany & beyond like Cinque Terra. We ate at all the local cafes/restaurants near where we stayed which were fantastic! I love Italian food so everyone had fab food. I must say the cobble stones were hard to negotiate, pulling your luggage around was very hard. As well as the all the stairs, meaning every apt or accomodation was up lots of steep stairs. I would come again as I love this area.Guest review byKathyAustralia - 10.0
Pisa is so much more than just the leaning tower.
Pisa is so much more than just the leaning tower. The whole cathedral complex is wonderful. It is well worthwhile staying in Pisa to enjoy the whole experience after the crowds go home (or before they arrive). The entire place is like a film set. So many beautiful churches, old buildings and fascinating museums.Guest review byO'KeeffeUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Magnificent duomo/cathedral. Del Campo was amazing.
Magnificent duomo/cathedral. Del Campo was amazing. Interesting walks around the old town. Did a winery day trip to region close by. Many choices of restaurants with great food. Also shopped in local stores so we could do some of our own cooking.Guest review byMonicaAustralia - 10.0

We heard about Lucca from some people when we were in a restaurant in Pisa. We decided to visit because of their enthusiasm and because it was not very far by train. We were very impressed by Lucca's attractions and the local were friendly and helpful. There are areas other than the old town with it's usual tourists traps that are worth exploring.Guest review byMartin0007United Kingdom - 10.0

We went to several walled cities on our few days in Tuscany. San G was our absolute favorite. Very clean and the food was amazing. Be prepared to walk a lot up hill, but that's the same with any Tuscany walled city.Guest review byDeborahUnited States - 4.0

Was not impressed with the city and expected more given all the review I read online. My disapointment could be due to the fact I visited in February, so off season. I booked two nights but decided to only stay for one and left early. Even though I booked a room in the central part of the city I did not feel safe walking the streets at night.Guest review byViktoria - 10.0

We loved Arezzo so much we decided to buy a home and retire here! City has it all - train directly into town, flat walkable and pedestrian friendly city with more delicious restaurants than one could ever try in a lifetime. Nice park with a view and amenities adjacent to Duomo and plenty of shopping - this is a city where people live and tourists tend to visit on famous Antique Market weekend so you get a sense of what it's like to actually live in an Italian town - hours of operation for shops and restaurants are Italian vs tourist, people are friendly and it's a safe city without the stress of pick pockets or crowds - most people miss Arezzo; don't be one of them!Guest review by629 - 8.0
A very attractive town.
A very attractive town. The beaches are superb, but unless you head out of town you need to go into a beach club. There are no free access beaches in town. Some hotels have an arrangement with a beach club for free or discounted access for guests, so it is worth checking this if you intend to use the beaches. It can cost typically EUR30-40 for 2 chairs, a sunbed and an umbrella. They don't offer reduced rates until 3-4pm. That will add up after a few days. The restaurants are OK but nothing special. Most of them serve the same food, which can get boring. We ate in our hotel restaurant more than we usually would, but the quality and variety of food on offer was better than any outside restaurant we tried. Apart from the beach, shops and walking up and down the promenade, there is not much to actually do in Viarregio, so you may want to get out on some day trips. Pisa and Luca are accessible by train, although we found them both to be disappointing (especially Luca - what a dump!). We found the train service a bit hit and miss, although it is cheap. Consider hiring a car if you plan to get out of Viareggio. If you pick up and drop off at the airport, it will also be useful for airport transfers.Guest review byFarnboUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Pienza is a fantastic hilltop town with wonderful views over the Val D'Orcia valley. It has wonderful streets, restaurants, and historical sites to explore.
