We went for our honeymoon & it was the most romantic & relaxing place! We did a cooking class with Alessandro that we will always remember. He really took his time to teach us and let us be hands on in the kitchen. The bar by the Tuscan bistro was also my favorite the Furore drink has to be my favorite cocktail I’ve had in a long time.

We were so fortunate to discover Palazzo Tiglio! John is a wonderful host and the staff throughout our stay were very friendly, helpful and lovely to interact with. The hotel itself is an absolute gem in the tiny town of San Pancrazio. The hotel is known for its fine dining (the chef is amazing), but it was also very convenient for trips to Siena, Florence and Arezzo. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, and the service was really outstanding. Be sure to check out their tips for local sightseeing, wineries and other dining options.

    A Peaceful and far from the city country house with a view on the mountains. Very pretty garden with all sorts of trees and plants. The fence of the house is made of Laurel, the smell was everywhere I loved it. You have a parking space for free. Each apartment is very private. There's a pool area that is really nice to chill in. There's a bar at the pool with drinks and food very decently priced. The young people working at the pool were very nice.

    my father had a medical episode in those moments being away from the modern facilities of a major American City ( Las Vegas) we were unsure of what to do, the lady on duty for the evening advised we called an ambulance , i am glad she did, the medical services provided by the first responders and the emergency room of the San Donato Hospital in Arezzo were top notch

    Its a wonderful place, amazing views. The pools were so refreshing. The rooms super clean and nice traditional Italian villa. I went with 2 kids and they were extremely happy. Activities are amazing and people giving them are super nice. I would really recommend this place specially if you want to take time off.

    Easy access to the autostrada, very friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, and comfortable beds. we forgot our sons medicine in the room refrigerator and the staff found it and has it set aside for when we pass by on our return trip. we will definitely stay here again!

    Very comfortable accomodation for 5 persons . Recommended for anyone who want to visit all the historical cities in Tuscany . The appartment owner is very communicative and reactive in case of any issues in the appartment . The only negative point is not directly linked to the appartment - too much mosquitoes outside in the location .

    This is a books that prides the service they provide. EVERYTHING was 5-star quality! The drive to the property was Florence airport was great—mainly highways and easy roads leading to the property. During our stay, the villa hosted a wine tasting watch was top quality—elegantly done and very informative.

    Montevarchi is a small town with a handful of restaurants. The location and The train station is excellent for travelling to other towns. Florence is only 45 minutes by train and the station parking is free.

    The place was great.

    The place was great. View was blocked by some trees but overall it was right in the middle of nature. Amazing Cabins. Dinner was great especially their Gnocchi, Pizza and Deserts are wonderful and I recommend to try.

    It's a beautiful "new land".

    It's a beautiful "new land". Stunning landscapes, plenty of historical place. The area is great for a local stay (one can enjoy architecture, history, hiking, etc.) and a perfect base to plan medium distance visit (is fairly distant from Florence, Siena, and the unfairly less known Arezzo).

    Total lack of proper management, and overall maintenance of...

    Total lack of proper management, and overall maintenance of the property and apartment!!! Daily 'management' was strictly the responsibility of two, overworked, rather young and inexperienced ladies, working in shifts (hosting approx. 35 rooms and double the number of guests at least). Due to this, reception was largely unmanned, and no possibility to contact the management, at reception or by phone. Swimming pool (which was the only true accessory available at the location) was out of order and not cleaned/filtered for almost two days due to 'necessary' repairs (which should be done in low season or off season, NOT in high season!). Our daughter cut her foot on broken and very sharp tiles, which had become loose from the edge... A technical failure of our air conditioning, took over 2(!) days to get addressed (not solved!), only after I laid down a complaint and this in temperatures reaching 36°C and night temperatures not lower than 25°C (we stayed 7 nights). Yet, they are able to monitor the working of the AC in each room from the front dest! Breakfast was a true laugh, and therefore way too expensive to be called 'breakfast': the two 'team' personnel was very demotivated and not friendly at all, which resulted in a constant lack of replenishment of the food, the choice of which was very limited and not worthy of the price to be paid for!

    Loro Ciufenna has everything you expect when traveling Italy: a small historic center with a small river floating through it; a pizzeria, and last but not least the best ice cream in Tuscany at Gelateria Al Ponte🇮🇹 All well know cities and sights are reachable within 1h or less drive ( Firenze, Arezzo, Sienna, Cortona, The Mall, Chianti Wine Areas) We stayed at Agriturismo Antico Borgo Poggitazzi which is only 10 minutes drive away from Loro Ciufenna.

    It was totally different than it said online.

    It was totally different than it said online. On the photos it showed cute little appartements with amenities but instead we got a double room with five beds and a mini fridge. It was dirty and we couldn’t even have a coffee on the shared terrace. The restaurants didn’t offer much quality and we were actually on a camping with 8000 people. This was not communicated! The poos water was so dirty that my kids got sick. Also they call it ApartHotel but that is permanently closed on google maps. Also we were given the the wrong adres. The actual name is Hu open air camping Girassol! Totally different than the villa with appartements we were promised.

    This is a real gem at 30 minutes from Florence, 38 minutes from Chianti region. We stayed 4 days and everything was amazing, we would have liked to stay longer. The service was outstanding, Manuela, Daniel, Matilde and Gulia (the chef) were always giving their best to make us feel home, attentive and caring. Food was delicious, we were looking forward to being back for having dinner. Breakfast and dinner with gluten free options as we requested. We would have liked to spend time enjoying the pool, terraces and surroundings full of nature. Rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy
