Although you must ditch your car, ride a noisy Vaporetto and haul your luggage over bridges, the inconvenience is so worth it. There is no other city like Venice, with its numerous canals, old buildings coated in subtle pastels, alleys, piazzas and bridges....quaint, charming, and immersed in layers of history. Let yourself be immersed in the rich culture as you explore medieval cathedrals, grand palaces, and fascinating museums. And don't be afraid to wander away from St. Marks and other crowded sites to get a true feeling for life in this city on water. One hidden gem is San Giorgio Maggiore, a short ferry ride from St. Marks, but with a beautiful church and old monastery, plus a bell tower with spectacular views. All this being said, I would not recommend Venice to people with small children or with mobility issues.Guest review byBarbaraUnited States - 2.0

Verona has the Arena which is unique and a very popular annual opera festival. A pizzeria call Vesuvio was nearby which had the best pizza I have ever eaten. We walked most of the time as it was hard to get information on bus routes. There are private bus tours available for places like Valpolicella which has lots of wine related visits.Guest review byElizabethIreland - 6.0

This is a place for people who want to chill on the beach for the entire duration of their holiday. There is barely anything else to do. The beach is an endless forest of sunbeds and parasols with restaurants nearby.Guest review bySzabolcsHungary - 8.0

Even though its a small town it is really nice, 2 days in enough (one day we spent in Padova and one day we went to Venice). We enjoyed the river walk and a lot of nice restaurants like the Pastasuta restaurant that right at the Padova market.Guest review byTina KCroatia - 10.0

Caorle is absolutely charming, a beautiful old Venetian town with colorful houses, winding streets, and a unique atmosphere that feels both authentic and relaxed. I loved being able to enjoy the historic center and then walk straight to the beach for a swim. The mix of culture, history, and seaside holiday makes Caorle really special, a place I would happily return to again and again.Guest review byEnriqueAustria - 6.0

I have the impression that the town has lost so many of its services - supermarkets, fruit and veg shops, delis - and the permanent citizens of Peschiera have put their efforts into restaurants, bars and shops. It is a very pretty town but I feel it is not a real town but a tourist town. In high season the ferries are frequent to visit towns around the lake. The bus service in the area functions but is crowded due to the huge number of tourists.Guest review bySuzanneCanada - 10.0
