- From $433.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 657 reviewsThe hotel, restaurant and spa are exceptional especially after a long day of cycling. But most of all the staff were wonderful and so helpful. From the fellow who greeted me, and the young lady who arranged to do some laundry for me quickly, and the fine young men who served me dinner and to the wonderful lady who made me a doppio espresso in the morning. All were so nice and hard working. Thank you to the team at Albergo le Terme. Your hotel is great but you make it special.Guest review byMarkCanada

The historic center is very walkable.
The historic center is very walkable. Most of the sights and museums are right in the center. But also just walking the small side streets and enjoying the atmosphere, enjoying amazing food and coffee was one of my favorite things to do. Saturday market at porta palazzo is truly a must-experience. In the side streets in the city center watch out for small concept stores and cafes/bars; there are some real juwels to discover. If you like street art, to to the area of Campidoglio (10 min. by metro from the station). Really worth it (during the week, as Sunday everything is closed).Guest review byNicoleSwitzerland - 10.0

La Spezia is a great town-lots of great shops, restaurants and bars for aperitivo. Very walkable and people very friendly. Perfect jumping point for access to Cinque Terre. We found it a perfect balance using Cinque Terre card and taking train in daily. More affordable and more active later in the evening so ideal for our trip.Guest review byKossis - 10.0
It's a beautiful city.
It's a beautiful city. Quite confusing to find your way around. Do not get the train, though. You have a bus replacement at Empoli. I'm fluing back from Pisa and taking the bus to Florence, then the train to Pisa. If you're using Trainline beware of delays which then mess up the rest of the journey. Itabus from Lyon is really comfortable but we were delayed and had to book new connections from Turin. Make sure you have at least two hours leewayGuest review byBridgetUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great place to stay and a lot of history, arts, and culture to be explored. I didn't expect that it is such a nice and beautiful place. Would recommend to everyone, especially the cafes and tavernas. I had not enough time during my stay to see enough of all the places in Lucca - so will be back - hopefully soon.Guest review byGregorAustria - 10.0

If you want to avoid the touristy cities in Italy, Parma is the place to visit. We travelled by train from Milan, so no need for a car. Easy to walk around, plenty of history and of course the Food is what the city is most famous for.Guest review bySandys - 10.0

Wonderful city, not chaotic even if it is full of shops, restaurants and cafes. The centre pf the city is mostly pedestrian area all the day. Beautiful Roman remains and obviously surrounded by mountains and trees. One of our best family holidays ever. We simply loved it.Guest review byMarkMalta - 10.0

We liked exploring the entire City and were fastinated with the old buildings. Only negative comment would be fact you need to pay for the use of the washroom. Most were dirty and lacked toilet seats.Guest review byDanielCanada - 8.0

Viarreggio is a very friendly and family type of town with some great beaches, pleasant pedestrianised streets, restaurants and a lovely park in the centre. Being very flat it is easy for people to get around town and there are many on bikes. Our favourite places to eat were MaMe Restaurant, Osteria l'Imbarco and Ristorante Pizzeria EdenGuest review byKENNETHUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Orvieto is a beautiful, historic city on a high outcrop.
Orvieto is a beautiful, historic city on a high outcrop. There are some great restaurants, and interesting sites to see. We recommend Al Pozzo Etrusco Di Fabrizio Grilli for excellent local dishes. It's worth booking as it isn't very big. There's a walk around the bottom of the cliff - steep and gravelly in parts, but lovely views.Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom
