The hotel was clean, new and the staff was wonderful. The front desk staff, breakfast/restaurant staff were all so friendly and helpful and all went above and beyond. My parents room was upgraded and they had a perfect view of the ship my grandmother traveled to America on in 1958. It was truly magical.

You will get all kinds of information regarding hotel facilities, check in/out time, video on demand (I like this VOD stuff 😉) and also all tv programs across Japan. You wanna extend your check out time? No problem, just use the tv remote and click to extend by hours (1000yen/hour). You just need to pay during check out later. EASY!

    This is a little old school in a nice way, the building has quite a bit of history, but is fantastic, an amazing place to stay for two or 3 nights right on the lake. The service was exceptionally good and the room size represented the largest we stayed in for a 2 week trip to Japan. There are 2 restaurants a French one and a Japanese one. We ate at the French one which was exceptionally good with fantastic service. Check out time is also 12 noon, which can be useful.

    We were only here for one night so not sure if there’s a guest lounge, coin laundry, or gym available. The bay view room was amazing. The lights at night were beautiful! If this hotel provided amenities in the rooms and had a guest lounge/gym then I might consider this a 4-star hotel. Google currently says this is a 3-star.

    The place is Amazing and the staff we're very nice. Breakfast and Dinner are so good and delicious . The Onsen is very nice,because they close at late time(24:00) and open early (5:00am) so you can soak before bed and in the morning before breakfast .     Hakone is so far the highlight of 2 weeks in Japan. Could spend 2 nights there easily. The Free Pass was very good value, easy to use, and a great way to see the area. Start early. Ignore the crowds. Research the spots you want to stop. We wasted time in Hakone machi not realising that we would miss out on the open air museum and other spots around Gora. In hindsight we should have stayed in Odawara, hotels cheaper, only 15mins from Hakone, lots more restaurants and a good vibe too.

    We were attending a event in Kawasaki so that is why we stayed there. We didn't really do much sight-seeing in Kawasaki. We liked that the city was only a short train ride to many other cities like downtown Toyko and Yokohama. We enjoyed the many shopping and restaurants around Kawasaki Station.

    Very nice views and calm vacation vibe. We enjoyed swimming in the sea and watching surfers every day. Easy to get to beautiful temples nearby and Enoshima. We would like to come again and stay for longer time

    It might not be for everyone, have to take one stop to Ofuna...

    It might not be for everyone, have to take one stop to Ofuna to transfer to other JR lines but very convenient visiting Kamakura and Enoshima. Plenty of stores around Fujusawa station for shopping. Airport bus to Narita and Haneda airports, although schedules not as frequent as pre-COVID check in advance.

    If you are planning to do a trip to Hakone, I think it is smarter to stay in Odawara than in Hakone-Yamoto. Odawara is a small town, but it has bars, restaurants, and is much more alive at night. Yes, you lose 20-30 min daily for your Hakone trip, but it is compensated with a wider variety of restaurants and bars. Also, the Castle is impressive, and the beach is relaxing!

    Atsugi is a lovely smaller town & I was fortunate to be there during their festival weekend, fireworks included. The people are incredible friendly & helpful. If you hire a car & able to drive up into the mountains well worth it. It’s not as busy & not as many European travelers being off the beaten track.definitely a slower lifestyle great food experience.

    Our stay was excellent for me, location is near to public transportation (train) good restaurants are walkable and convinient stores too. The entire hotel is clean and offers good, delicious breakfast. Room was clean. Comfort room is kinda small but clean. Everything is excellent for me except the bed and pillows are not so soft.. because I was expecting a very soft pillows and bed but aside from that I enjoyed staying there. Staffs are so accommodating and very helpful too. I definitely recommend this hotel and surely I will come back here in my future vacation in Japan.

    Yokosuka is an awesome place to visit. There’s something for everyone whether you’re a nature lover or a city lover you’ll find something to do. During my visit. I went to kanonzaki park by bus and it was the highlight of my trip. It’s my second time visiting Yokosuka and can’t wait to go there again.
