The house is very beautiful, well renovated with very good taste.Three toilets but only one bathroom.The owner and the staff are very kind and full of service mind. We have barbecue with karaoke , singing and dancing with the best audio equipment..The owner well prepared everything for our group including the heater on the floor. We all very appreciated for the hospitality, will come back again.

We arrived in the evening, in the downpour and darkness, feeling lost in the middle of nowhere. A cozy cottage was waiting for us: with heating on, beautifully furnished to the smallest details, very clean, very well equipped, comfortable. Just perfect. Due to an accident with a broken car window, we had a pleasure to meet the host. He helped us complete the formalities, secured the car for the rest of our journey and made sure that the remnants of glass wouldn’t have hurt anyone or anything. It is difficult to express how grateful we are and we regret that we cannot give a higher rating

This holiday home offers free private parking and private check-in and check-out. The property features a shared kitchen, a family-friendly restaurant with an outdoor dining area. We drove by the cottage the first time and stopped about 100 meters ahead. Then we were approached by some local people, one of which was the owners mother. They were super friendly and she guided us to the correct location. There was a nice big spot to park our car directly in front of the cottage. We had diner at the table outside and enjoyed the night sky. From here you have great views of mount Aso and also the surrounding edges of the caldera. Great experience and one of our best rural stays in Japan. Thanks to the owner and his mother for their hospitality and kindness!

Hacchobaru Power Station Museum is 9.3 km from the bed and breakfast. The hotel felt very warm and the onsens are completely amazing! The rooms are big and the bed was very comfortable. At night, most of the stores and restaurants are closed or fully booked so make sure to reserve a sit in advance. The area in the morning is wonderful and was not crowded at all. We really enjoyed it and we would be glad to visit again in the future.

Our host was incredibly welcoming and the other guests really respectful so we felt right at home. The location was ideal for visiting hiking spots nearby. There was the possibility to do laundry which we really appreciated and there is a good yakiniku restaurant nearby (our host even kindly drove us there and brought us back).

The property features garden views and is 37 km from Suizenji Park and 41 km from Kumamoto Castle. KK Wings is 31 km away and Kuroishi Station is 37 km from the guest house. The breakfast (additional charge of 1200 yen per person) was so good and beats our expectation. You must have it if you are visiting. Need to send a message to them few days in advance to book it. The room spacy with great view! Has a small kitchen, microwave and small refrigerator in the room.
