Well located, just few steps tometro station and to Nishiki Market. The room with private bathroom is big and clean. Rooms have a very true Japanese touch and the sight over the temple was a real plus. The futons were very confortable even to us, that actually never slept in a futon in our lifes. Staff was very helpful, they borrowed us an umbrella to walk on Kyoto streets on a rainy day. We never tried breakfast but there is a minimarket just next door and a cafeteria very close to the hotel

Thank you Manager Kazuya. Well presented, traditional home catering for all the family with western style beds plus Japanese style bedding. Kitchen well appointed. Great location close to river, subway and only a short walk to Kyoto station. Very enjoyable 5 night stay. Our Japanese friends who called in to pick us up for a day out were jealous - better and larger than their own home! Delightful small garden space. Appreciated the 2 toilets and bathrooms.

Tomy and tetu are the perfect hosts! We appreciated the time the took to point out some Kyoto landmarks and history from their rooftop and that they took the time to prepare and teach us traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Their home had many amenities and the location being so close to the station was convenient to get around Kyoto. They made our stay a memorable one and we hope to book again should Kyoto be in the cards for us in the future.

Don’t be fooled by the 3 star grading. It’s far better than many four or even five stars that I have stayed in big cities in Japan. It’s spacious, tastefully designed, sparkling clean and quiet. Its staff is efficient and helpful. All these locate in a central place of main tourism attractions of Kyoto, many of them are with walking distance. No breakfast is provided, but, with the Familymart two minutes away you get everything you need.

Very convenient location near the Kyoto station, the main transport hub in the city. The host was indeed very nice and helpful, making sure that everything was OK. Japanese style room was spacious and comfortable, shared kitchen well equipped, there's also a nice living room, and a clean and modern bathroom. The last, but not the least there's Maro, the cute and adorable house cat.

The Gracery Hotel Kyoto Sanjo is a very nice and modern-styled hotel. The service was very friendly and breakfast had enough variety for an extended start in the morning. The hotel has a great location - it sits right in the Teramachi shopping mall, only minutes away from Pontocho Alley, and just across the river from Gion. We found our stay very well set.

This hotel is located inside Kyoto station, hence the word KINTETSU. We made the mistake of walking towards another MIYAKO Hotel which is across the street from the Station. Regardless, our room faces the Shinkansen tracks at the very end and was really awesome seeing the Shinkansen pulling in and out without any noises. Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the Japanese style house and the bathroom was fabulous with a cute little garden to look out on. Close walk to Kyoto stn across the river. Family mart was at the end of the street for supplies and McDonalds too.Close to the bus stop as well. We liked this location. Staff were super helpful to solve any issues. Non contact checkin was easy.

The room is spacious and big (compared to must Japan Hotels) therefore comfortable for families. Although there are laundry machines available at the base floor, our room had its own laundry machine which turned out very helpful. Beautiful cherry tree outside the hotel. Nara metro line within 6min walk and Kyoto Station within 15min walk.

Amazing boxes acting as rooms, iPod control is a really interesting idea that works! You have a locker under your bed that fits all your items. Place is super clean. The common area was great for meeting other guests as well as staff members, who offered me tremendous amounts of help and tips not only for Kyoto but other parts of Japan.

Hotel's location is right above Kyoto station which was great for our tired bodies after a long flight. checking in was a breeze. It's also conveniently located near local train stations and all the amazing food joints around. I will also recommend the hotel breakfast which serves a wide selection of Japanese and western food

Great location right beside the metro and just a 10 minute walk to Kyoto station. The buffet breakfast was excellent value and very nice ( - just be sure to book in) The complimentary drink each night was nice too. Our room was small but very comfortable and clean. Hotel is close to several convenience stores.

Location was great just after the Kyoto central station. If you're coming by bus from Tokyo then bus will drop you just close to the hotel alley. Hotel was fresh and clean. Lots of convenient stores nearby. Room was spacious compared to Tokyo or Osaka. Hotel offers breakfast which we didn't take.

Thank you so much for the nice stay. The room was very spacious and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. All the space was clean and furnished really well. Hotel is near train station and bus stop. We can honestly recommend Minn Gion and I’m sure we will reserve room the next time in Kyoto.

There were lots of efforts put into all the details but my family were mostly impressed with the breakfast. All the ingredients were from local vendors and most seasonal produce were used. Will definitely recommend Rhinga Gran Hotel to our friends and family for their trip to Kyoto.

I enjoyed my stay in Hennan Hotel in Kyoto !! It was super clean and it has a super nice convenient location to the JR Kyoto station. You can also walk to Gion district in 30 minutes. I will definitely come back to Kyoto and to this hotel. Additionally the breakfast was amazing!!!

Lovely staff, great breakfast options. Free water dispenser and all free amenities available. Room was perfect for one person - not huge space but it was as expected in Japan I believe. Walking distance to Kyoto station. Hotel has bikes available for rent, a great way to see Kyoto.

Most hotel rooms in Japan are tiny but this was a really good size with comfortable beds. The front desk was extra helpful and will address any of your concerns almost immediately. Location was excellent as well, just 1 stop away from Kyoto main station or about 20 mins walk.

Honestly, best stay in Japan. The bed was so comfortable and capsules were spacious. Location was excellent and the staff was top notch. Honestly the best hospitality I received from staff during my stay in Japan. 1000% recommend would stay here again if I visit Kyoto.

All the Staff we encountered were lovely & very helpful. Hotel extremely close & convenient to Kyoto station & 7-11 for snacks & breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Stayed in the Pokémon room, which was a bit of a novelty for the kids & spacious
