- From $148.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 627 reviewsThe cutest tiny loft with the most comfortable mattress and the view of the entire beach, super cosy and cute. Certainly a 'backpackers' but super clean, very welcoming, safe and perfect location. Take note if you are tall or large you may feel cramped but it's just "Japanese small" - Loved the included breakfast and the deck was great for sunset too. Could walk from the Train to check in, and the staff were happy to call us a taxi for dinner reservations. The street noise is 'street noise' but we only noticed it during the day, overnight the main road was quiet. Would be great for surfers, just not sure of storage for your boards as rooms so small! The shared bathrooms were super clean, and all bathroom items like toothbrush, toothpaste etc provided. Loved the stay here! Perfect for couples.Guest review byAngela Lagos-JayAustralia
- From $79.91 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,305 reviewsLoved my first experience at a ryokan. Price was of good value, room and neighbourhood was quiet, the shared bathroom was clean, safe, and came with an onsen with mineral-filled spring water. I loved entering and waking up to the sweetness of the wooden home and tatami mats, also the way sunlight streamed in so gently through the shoji windows. I The gentle creak as I walked on the wooden boards...it was such a quiet, sensory treatGuest review byDaphneSingapore

It might not be for everyone, have to take one stop to Ofuna to transfer to other JR lines but very convenient visiting Kamakura and Enoshima. Plenty of stores around Fujusawa station for shopping. Airport bus to Narita and Haneda airports, although schedules not as frequent as pre-COVID check in advance.Guest review byLove to travelCanada - 10.0
Yokosuka is an awesome place to visit.
Yokosuka is an awesome place to visit. There’s something for everyone whether you’re a nature lover or a city lover you’ll find something to do. During my visit. I went to kanonzaki park by bus and it was the highlight of my trip. It’s my second time visiting Yokosuka and can’t wait to go there again.Guest review byZJapan - 10.0
We loved our stay in Zushi and hope to return.
We loved our stay in Zushi and hope to return. The beach was beautiful and the location was excellent. Views of Mt. Fuji from the beach were wonderful. It was countryside compared to where we live, but still convenient with stores and restaurants walking distance away. It was a little too loud in the evenings for a family with children. But we definitely hope to visit again.Guest review byJMVan77United States - 10.0

It’s a small city, yet popular with tourists thanks to its blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. While some spots can get quite crowded, those who enjoy hiking can escape the crowds by booking a local guide and exploring the mountain trails. These paths lead to hidden shrines and temples, offering not only a peaceful atmosphere but also stunning views.Guest review byYangyangIndonesia - 10.0

Fujisawa is wonderful and relaxed, and we come here at least 3 times per year to get away from the city. It's so nice to be able to come and NOT rush, which is why we now always stay overnight. Otherwise it's too stressful to do and see things and then get back on a train to go home on the same day. There ARE vegetarian and vegan-friendly places, but you have to find them. Use Happy Cow or another search engine to research before you come. Otherwise you'll be eating dinner at a convenience store (which isn't awful). Also, there aren't many places to eat breakfast unless you're ok with just a bakery.Guest review byGina-MarieJapan - 10.0
Yokosuka is a great place to visit.
Yokosuka is a great place to visit. There’s a fun activity for everyone. The people are nice , friendly and simple full of life. It’s an international city with a melting pot of different nationalities. My favourite place was kanonzaki park which is easily accessible by car/ bus.Guest review byZJapan - 10.0

One week was the perfect way to enjoy the town and explore temples and shrines...and cute cafes! We recommend taking a walking tour to get a feel for the town and learn temple etiquette, etc.. In addition, we tried a few experiences - kintsugi golden joinery, woodcarving, and indigo dyeing. It was wonderful to meet the artisans and work with them (even though we are not terribly artistic!). Kamakura never fails when it comes to food - especially Japanese and Italian restaurants, and gelato!Guest review byMarianJapan - 10.0
