The rooms were HUGE, stunning, spotlessly clean, the view on the huge balcony was incredible! The beds were SO comfortable. They had so many fun things in the room that we enjoyed (robes, high quality bath products, coffee machine). They had a crib for our baby, with a personalized hand written note and baby bath products - so beyond thoughtful. Every night there was a choice of alcohol, snacks, drinks that we enjoyed so much! The staff were super helpful from the minute we checked in. The location was 10 minute walk from the train station (we took an airport shuttle directly from there!), 2-3 minute walk from restaurants, shopping area. We only stayed one night when we arrived as we needed a place to recharge and freshen up before we head to Kyoto. The hotel is very nice with complete amenities in the room. The room we occupied has the view of the airport runway but we never heard any noise coming from the airplanes arriving and taking off. A bit expensive but it was worth it. Sakai is where the Black Ship finally stopped, it brough the first Portugese to Japan. The city is full of history and is where some of the best knives in the country are made. Easy to walk around, barely a tourist in sight, it is a wonderful counter balance to the frentic and congested Osaka scene. The breakfast was fantastic — so many options, and everything tasted great. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Every part of the hotel, including our room, was spotless. I requested fresh towels daily, and they not only provided them but also made the bed each day. The views from our room, the restaurant, and the Sky Spa were absolutely breathtaking.
