- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 88 reviewsStaff were excellent ( Bernard, Duncan, Griffin, Chef, Hotel mgr) Food was great, Chef was very accommodating and doled out Kenyan dishes on request. Also has good veg options. Sleep quality was good, mattress are pretty comfy for people with back problems & better than many 5 stars in Kenya. We stayed 2 nights and could do safari for a day , Bernard helped us by optimizing park entrance fees else we would have overpaid! Air Mombasa damaged our bag lock it was not opening and we had a hard time but the hotel staff were very helpful in opening. The hotel has great views of Mt Kilimanjaro and is close to the park gates, good access to get in to park and also to go out on highways.Guest review byRahulUnited Arab Emirates
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 253 reviewsThe views are incredible, the location – superb. Food is good, pool is good, staff are great, the bonfire evenings are amazing. Having morning coffee atop the viewtower overlooking the giraffes and elephants in the savannah in front of Mt. Kilimanjaro or sipping a 🍺 on that same viewtower in the bright red sunset... magicalGuest review byMikhailRussia

Fantastic wildlife and some amazing wide open plains with beautiful views. Excellent birdlife and nice roads. Sadly, let down by the volume of cars and very rude, disrespectful guides who drive past you, showering you in dust even when it is clear you are leaning out of the car, taking pictures. Overcrowding of lion sightings with no control by park staff.Guest review byBrianUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This was my second visit to Amboseli, home of the Jumbos!
This was my second visit to Amboseli, home of the Jumbos! It is THE place to see plenty of elephant activity in the morning and evening. Saw lions last time, but not this time - but did see other big cats - cheetahs having lunch. There are a couple of Maasai villages open to visitors (for a price) just outside the park.Guest review byKevin WasnerUnited States - 10.0

There is an overwhelming mountain, Mt.Kilimanjaro, in the Amboseli area. If you stay for a couple of days, you will see various views here, although it depends on the season and weather. Weather permitting, you can see out-of-this-world views.Guest review byTanaka
