The good part of this place is the location. We had friends that stayed at beach resorts who were just constantly approched on the beach and even sat in their resort outside. We had no problems as its hidden on a nice street away from the sellers but still a 1k cab ride if you do want to be on the beach. The roomswere spotless and as its a brandnew hotel you can tell that nothing has been used. I am sure no one had slept in the bed before I stayed there and its obvious. Mosiqutos plugs in all the rooms and air con switched on so when we arrived it was cool and insect free. Its a boutique hotel so unlike those massive resorts we get served and any request is quick. Food was great and lots of choices of accomodation styles for solo travellers, couples and families.

I loved all of it. A quiet and very relaxing resort with really friendly staff of Tino, Sammy, Millie, Rufus and all others who always makes you feel like a friend every day. I had a problem with getting a lot of mosquito bites so bring repellant!!! Apart for the mosquitoes everything was great 👍

Villa Malindi was an exceptional experience for myself, my wife and my 13 year old son. Alexander is an incredible host with an extensive knowledge of all of the best places to go and activities to do in Malindi and surrounding area. He is also extremely well connected with local business owners and activity providers, and he made sure our outings were well planned, memorable and personalised to our individual interests. I cannot recommend Villa Malindi enough, and cannot wait to visit again.

Lovely small hotel with amazing staff. The hotel feels a little bit like paradise. It is perfect if you want to relax and wind down. Directly situated at the beach and the architecture with the pavilion and the pool in front of it gives the place a great aesthetic. The staff was amazing - helpful and very friendly. Without them the hotel wouldn’t be the same. The only downside you might have is that it is a little bit remote but on the upside less tourists and if you mainly want to relax this place is amazing for this. The food is also good and has vegetarian options. Highly recommended!

The Sands at Nomad is an exceptional, world-class resort located on a prime site on Diani Beach, Kenya. The resort is surrounded by tropical forest which ensures that there is no outside noise pollution. The forest is home to a variety of creatures, including at least 2 types of monkeys (Black and white Colobus and Syke's or Samango monkeys) Dik-dik, Bush babies (Grester Galago) and numerous species of birds. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable, ranging from standard Sea Breeze rooms to private villas. I had a Beach bungalow - ideal for single travelers or couples, whilst my friend had a standard Sea Breeze room. The Beach bungalow had the advantage of being right on the beach (literally about 15 m from the pure white sand) and benefitted from the sea breeze, whereas the Sea Breeze room, despite its name, did not get much benefit from the breeze due to tall trees which blocked the view of the beach, but had a great ambience. Both rooms were air conditioned, so the breeze was not essential. There are a wide range of watersports and activities on offer.

I had a fantastic stay at Reef Hotel in Nyali. The staff were warm and attentive, and they went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special with a decorated room, singing, dancing, and a surprise cake during dinner. The beachfront location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with a mix of Swahili dishes, fresh fruits, omelettes, pastries, and cereals. A perfect blend of relaxation, great service, and Kenyan hospitality — highly recommended!

Everything was incredibly nice. Really quiet and cozy place with lots of vegetation that made it a small leafy oasis. Great view from the restaurant which had very good breakfast and food and very good service. The view and facilities in the room were unbeatable. We especially liked the net hammocks that hung out over the sea. The pool area was great with very attentive and friendly staff serving towels and drinks. A boat was available whenever you wanted to go over to Watamu.

The hospitality , warm weather, beautiful beaches, easy mode of transportation, wide cuisine, shopping avenues,etc. Rich culture & historical sites to view/visit. Hotel management was very understanding. I lost a sister a day before departure to our family holiday to the hotel. We called the hotel directly and also through Booking.com support desk and the hotel agreed to reschedule our vist to new dates that were convenient to us (3 weeks later). Watamu is such an incredible place to visit! I've never seen such a beautiful place! It is one of those places that really makes you understand how magical this world is! Garoda Beach - great at low tide for exploring the reef and lounging on the beach Jacaranda Beach - visit the beautiful Sardegna Due for a swimming pool in the middle of the ocean! Enjoy the crystal clear water and spot some star fish! Mida Creek - explore on paddleboards, take a boat ride to see the flamingos, take a stroll on the boardwalk Safari Blue - take a boat ride of a lifetime to spot the dolphins Get a few numbers for tuktuk and boda drivers and you can get anywhere easily! They'll even show you the hidden spots! Ask for some local restaurants to enjoy the ugali, beef, chapatis etc - so delicious

Bamburi, especially at a beachfront facility, provides direct access to soft white sand and the Indian Ocean, offering a serene "paradise" experience with stunning, unobstructed views. Diani Beach is awesome. Great beaches, good food. Transport readily available - be prepared to negotiate and try not to get ripped off. I've been there several times. I've stayed at "Diamonds", "Baobab", "The Blue Water", and "Jo Baobab's apartments". I liked Jo's apartments as they were 5 minute from beach with security, parking, spacious, well maintained, fully equipped, and significantly cheaper than the hotels on the beach - by at least 50%. On the beach I hung out at the Blue Marlin for the beach/bar/restaurant on the beach vibe.

But previous trips to Voi was great because one can visit Tsavo east and Tsavo west as well as some of the private wildlife sanctuaries from Voi. I always stay in Impala Safari Lodge in Voi, this time however I made a mistake to pick Oasis.

The property overbooked and didn't contact me to let me know...

The property overbooked and didn't contact me to let me know I wouldn't have a place to stay. When I called them to get directions late in the evening I received the disappointing news. At that late hour, I was unable to find any other affordable accomodations.

Mombasa is a coastal city with dreamy locations and culture...

Mombasa is a coastal city with dreamy locations and culture still existing. I loved taking drives around but watchout for the traffic jam, it could be tedious. The Nyali mall was lovely and i had fun spots to visit. Visited Some beach front restaurants too. So many tourist activities too.i felt safe as a solo traveller.
