The resort grounds themselves were immaculately and meticulously landscaped, creating a stunning tropical oasis. Both the pool area and the beach were kept sparkling clean. Best of all, the staff was absolutely awesome, with special shout-outs to Tito and Bakari who took fantastic care of us down at the pool bar!

The property was beautiful and clean. Every morning when I woke up, I can see the stuff cleaning every inch of this property. The breakfast was delicious. You had a wide variety of different types of food to eat for breakfast. If you come from the US, please don’t expect food to taste like the United States and how they prepare food at local five star hotels. Expect cultural food. The pizza did not taste like pizza from the US nor Italy. It is designed from local spices and tailored from the local cuisine. This means you will find a lot of curry in your meals. Overall, the service was beautiful and the people are very sweet and kind. I enjoyed the spa where I had a massage by very kind woman who had healing hands. We were greeted with kindness and a refreshment of juice, after our long journey on the train from Nairobi. Everyone, and I mean, everyone welcomed us with kindness.

The staff team was cordial, polite and friendly. The room service staff- Constance and Patrick (Grill bar waiter) were so helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to the beach. I booked an ocean view room and an upper floor room and got exactly that. The hotel had a Christmas pre-party which was just fantastic! The hotel had an evening live soft music during dinner which was lovely!

I was in love with Jannat house. Caroline and festus were amazing, so accommodating and kind. I had to unexpectedly cut my trip short and Caroline so helpful and really nice and understanding. Such a lovely person and host.
The accommodation exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was delicious. Next time I am in Lamu, I will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved the really warm sea, clean beaches which were never overcrowded with safe places to leave ones things.
Wild Water was great fun with no long queues for the slides and tubes,
Fort Jesus was really interesting and a great look back into the history of the place.
Very easy to get around with vans, taxis and tuk-tuks, not sure I would want to drive myself, very hectic.
Mombasa has two distinct sides, the modern shopping malls and the traditional side of Kenya with it's little street shops and stalls with I love.
I would defiantly recommend as a visit and already looking forward to my next trip.

Its a great beach with ample outdoor facilities. The only annoying thing is the constant harassment. One cannot enjoy a lazy day on the beach as you are constantly, non-stop being harassed by people that try to convince you in spending your money on nothing.

Some really good beaches... very full day trips on boats... lots of stalls to purchase things... good supermarkets on the main road if you are staying in a villa... due to the heavy Italian tourist presence, there are plenty of great eateries and restaurants... easy to get around on motorbike or tuk tuk... generally very safe compared to Nairobi.

Malindi is currently regarded as the "dead town" but in my opinion, it's the perfect escape from all sorts of pollution- Instantly replaced by the facinating historical landmarks like hell's kitchen & Mambrui in totality, peace & serene, are just some of the healing that Malindi has to offer.

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. It is loud and congested.but if one has his own home is Ok but there are other nice places to enjoy and have fun
It easy to get round Mtwapa, by Tax Tuk tuk and motor Bikes and public means of transport called Matatus.

An experience that everyone should have at least once in a lifetime. It has an amazing vibe to it and the people are extremely welcoming and friendly. It is culturally rich and has a lot of history to it. The islands are small enough to get by on foot and finding boat rides across are easy. Lamu truly teaches you to be present in the moment and take life a little slower.

Nyali has got all the beauties everyone imagines. Though the property I stayed in was not good due to lack of information while choosing, Nyali hosts all the epic places any person feels so excited. Am really amazed with Mombasa in general and Nyali in particular. Crime rate feels zero level. People are very supportive and amazing. Mombasa/ Nyali has been beyond my expectation! I enjoyed it!

Its a nice place with a beautiful beach with clear blue water. Water in the apartments are however salty, I assume its because of the beach surrounding the area. Food and activities are expensive around this area.
