Jannat was the best place I could possibly think of booking in Lamu. It's super close to everything.but it is quiet at night. The staff is amazing! The pool is nice and clean. The sunsets are to die for. The room was simple but very clean and comfy. And they make amazing food!

The staff were so helpful and attentive. Amani was a wonderful host and thoughtfully took care of every detail. He even offered to come and get me in town if I was lost and needed help finding my way. The spice cake at tea time was also a highlight❤️

The location is fantastic—just a short walk from great restaurants and charming coffee shops. Getting into Lamu town was also hassle-free. The accommodation itself is immaculate—spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with breathtaking views. The terrace with Swahili-style couches was a perfect spot to unwind, soak in the scenery, and enjoy the sea breeze. We also felt safe and at ease throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious with fresh juices and fruits that added a refreshing touch to our mornings. Abdalla, the owner, was quite helpful and communicative. He provided us with useful recommendations, arranged our boat transfers to and from Manda Airport, and even booked a stunning sunset dhow cruise. Emmanuel, who manages the place, was always ready to assist whenever needed, ensuring our stay was smooth and comfortable.

Everything! It is such a lovely place that will make your stay in Shela a beautiful memory. Super cozy, spacious, full of light, with all amenities, drinking water, non stop electricity even during power cuts, great ventilation, chilled vibe and above all a constant support by Chris and Reuben, who have been great in all terms and made us feel like home. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.
