We had an exceptional stay at Muni Residence. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family—with refreshing fruit juice, fresh fruit, and the kindness of early check-in after a long journey. After returning from a full day out, we were touched to be greeted with a delicious, homemade traditional Cambodian dessert—just one of the many thoughtful touches that made our stay unforgettable. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We loved the generous in-room offerings: a great selection of tea, coffee, water, and snacks, along with high-quality complimentary toiletries. The surrounding gardens were peaceful and beautifully maintained, and the pool was immaculate—truly the cleanest we’ve seen across all our travels in Southeast Asia. We highly recommend Muni Residence to anyone visiting Battambang. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth and genuine hospitality. We truly felt like part of the family.

An absolutely beautiful area hidden off the path with extremely friendly staff, delicious food and drinks, a gorgeous pool area and clean and comfortable rooms. If I ever make it back to Battambang, I’ll definitely plan to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Really nicely designed. Two pools available -often used by guests. Nice bathrooms. Great staff-helped check our pick up. One of the nicest places we stayed in Cambodia.

We had a wonderful stay at Oh Battambang. The staff were so friendly and helpful to us. They even gifted my dad something special for his birthday during our stay. We loved the breakfast at the hotel and the swimming pool area is also beautiful. We will definitely come again. This place is fantastic. Thank you so much :)

The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Vireak Rorm and the owner, Guillaume. The pool and grounds are very pretty. It’s a comfortable, welcoming place.

Beautiful historic villa with lots of original switches, lights, fans, etc. Not modern but lovely and comfortable. I think there are only 7 rooms. We had one on the second floor that was enormous! Had an entryway with a dresser and mirror and bathroom off that, then into the bedroom, which was huge, with canopy bed, couch, desk, etc. Shared terrace in back and larger one in front. Really lovely. The staff are a delight and do everything they can to make you happy. Lovely pool! And, two darling cats. Thoroughly enjoyed the 4 nights and could've happily stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is not located on the side of the river where the old part of town is but on the other side. This is the side you want to be on. Next to the Riverwalk which is highly entertaining in the evening.

The staff is kind and helpful. One man speaks French. All the amenities are there. We arrived before the check-in time and our rooms were ready so we could leave our suitcases earlier. Our mattresses were very comfortable and the A/C was silent. Our rooms were clean. Behind the hotel, there are 2 restaurants Nary’s kitchen and Coconut Lyly, which also offer cooking classes. So you can eat well and for cheap, 2 steps from the hotel! Good point after a day traveling around. The market is just beside. The hotel also offers motorcycles renting. However they didn’t have enough for us, we arrived after 12:00pm. We went to First cycle, hundreds meters from there, recommendation of the hotel. It was great. If we come back to Battambang, we’ll stay there again.
