Kampt is a nice little town to visit to get away from the madness in Phnom Penh. It has a very laid back vibe and feels safe. Quite a few good options for dining and a wide variety of accommodations. Enjoyed three days just outside of town.
Enjoyed three days just outside of town. We used it as a hub to visit Bokor National park, La Fontaine pepper farm and the salt flats via a scooter. It was hard to see so many alcoholic older expat men living there. I did go into one of the girly bars with a friend one night and they let you drink your beer without to much bother. if you showed and interest in them of course then they would start the hustle on ya but otherwise they let you be. Usually these places are horrible with the aggressive working girls and I just leave. But it was different here.Guest review byEdUnited States
