They had excellent western and Khmer food. Also really good wine. Special mention to the front of house staff, Pagedey, Lee and Mizzy and the team. They were incredibly warm, friendly and hospitable. We came here for kiteboarding and it turned out to be a good decision (August). One of the family members is a keen kiteboarder and was able to organise a boat to take us out to the island at the river mouth. It is a nice laid back place with easy access to the city by tuk-tuk or in our case a hired motorbike. The staff also assisted with reasonably priced transport to/from Phnom Penh and were flexible with our needs to change the booking at short notice. Kampt is a nice little town to visit to get away from the madness in Phnom Penh. It has a very laid back vibe and feels safe. Quite a few good options for dining and a wide variety of accommodations. Enjoyed three days just outside of town. We used it as a hub to visit Bokor National park, La Fontaine pepper farm and the salt flats via a scooter.
