My Beirut is slowly recovering, and this trip felt so much better than when we visited two years ago. The country feels more stable, and you can sense a beautiful energy of resilience and hope in the air. The Lebanese people, as always, remain incredibly warm, welcoming, and excited to work, carrying their unmatched hospitality with pride. The bars, restaurants, and food are still on another level .. truly better than anywhere else in the world. There are many restaurants in Junia, we enjoyed a variety of food which was excellent. Hotel Bel Azur was also good in general, the swimming pool very nice and spacious. We didn't like very loud music at the swimming pool, it is a perfect place if you like the pop music but not if you want to relax in a calm and quiet area. Prices in the bar are reasonable however only junk food is available (they don't have a proper kitchen). Amazing views , on the sea and close access to highway/ roads yo explore other goadtal towns or villages as well as to the mountains. Harissa only 20 mins away with beautiful views out over the areas and out to sea. It is a beautiful old town. Perfect for swimming in the sea and then going for a stroll. We stayed only one day so did not have a chance to visit any attractions.
