Came here with my girlfriend for a relaxing vibe and it was absolutely amazing. We were the only ones there the whole time so every time we ate food it was like we had a private chef with amazing food. Pool was super clean and staff were amazing. Really good AC in rooms and bathroom was spectacular with bathtub. Only three main villas on main property so it’s very chill place. If your looking to relax for a day or 2 100 percent recommend. 100 percent worth the money. They even got me a taxi to my next spot

During my trip to Polonnaruwa, my car broke down in Habarana, forcing me to stay overnight. I booked a room at Gabaa Resort, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience despite the unexpected situation. The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me find a reliable garage and get my car fixed promptly. The room was clean and comfortable, providing much-needed relaxation. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations. Though my stay was brief, the exceptional service and hospitality left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The food was great. They make the best safari tours and we felt that they are much better than the other operators. The vehicles are perfect for photographers and wildlife lovers and the guides are very knowledgeable and will do the impossible so you don't miss your chance at seeing leopards, bears and elephants. Without doubt, Arachchi Heritage is the best place we stayed in Anuradapura, during our time in Sri Lanka ! Excellent services from arrival to departure. The staff was extremely friendly, we felt very homely. Great view of Lake 'Thisa' and most of the key pagodas in Anuradapura. Breathtaking view in the early morning. Food, love it 😍. Arachchi Heritage carries sentimental values and heritage of essence of Sri Lanka. If you are looking for a place to stay which you can connect with the environment and oneself , Arachchi Heritage is a place you must consider. Definitely will come back when we visit Sri Lanka next year.

The Vacation we had in RAJARATA HOTEL - ANURADHAPURA is superb, This was my second stay there and it was great again - I visited Rajarata Hotel with My Family -They loved it too. Beds were comfortable, Rooms and bathrooms were superb clean - Room Services and Reception Staff was very good - For my father's birthday i told the hotel i want to give him a surprise and they arranged it so well - WOW ... Great support. Thank you for your service so much - Must say I ordered lunch from their Alar Cart Menu and they had great varieties where food were tasty and restaurant staff was so helpful and respectful. Had breakfast Buffet - It was superb with some good Varieties to select - Thanks again -Loved our stay at Rajarata Hotel & Will come again for sure.

What made our stay really memorable is the staff, from front desk agents, to waiters at the restaurants, to the guys driving us around with buggies, to people servicing our room. They have been amazingly kind and hospitable with us. It is difficult to pick one in particular, but if we have to name one we would say Kusal, who on our last day came especially to pick us from the lake and drove us back to the reception. Not only he gave us a small tour but also told us lots of interesting facts about the fishermen and the animals living in the area around the lak

During my stay, the property owner made several inappropriate and judgmental comments about my affordability and my decision to share meals with my mother, who is disabled. His behaviour was rude and discriminatory. After I posted my review describing my disappointment, the owner contacted me directly on my personal mobile number using very abusive and offensive language. This message was completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe.

Habarana is a small town located at a crossroads and a main road. It is therefore very accessible to other important cities, such as Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, etc. As well as to the natural parks, which are located nearby. Public transport is perfectly provided. The town has the necessary facilities such as shops, a bank, a post office, a doctor, etc. The beautiful surrounding nature, and easily accessible lakes, are also an advantage.

Anuradhapura is an amazing and spiritual place.

Anuradhapura is an amazing and spiritual place. It's different from the other sites in Sri Lanka because it still attracts so many pilgrims to its religious sites. It's a good idea to dedicate one day to visiting the active pilgrimage sites and the next to the historical sites, for which you need a ticket. Remember to cover up with long trousers and sleeves and don't forget your socks, because the ground is really hot and you have to take off your shoes everywhere. If you have an extra day, you can also return to the sites at night, which is when pilgrims light candles. Make sure you've got the Pick Me app installed and look out for a tuk tuk driver called Nisha. He's absolutely amazing: great driver, kind and attentive and with good English. For dinner, the atmospheric Hotel Shalini is a good bet. The Seedevi family restaurant is another good place. If you want to have a beer, they can put you in a separate 'family' room, or you can go to the tiny 'pub' next door.
