Came here with my girlfriend for a relaxing vibe and it was absolutely amazing. We were the only ones there the whole time so every time we ate food it was like we had a private chef with amazing food. Pool was super clean and staff were amazing. Really good AC in rooms and bathroom was spectacular with bathtub. Only three main villas on main property so it’s very chill place. If your looking to relax for a day or 2 100 percent recommend. 100 percent worth the money. They even got me a taxi to my next spot

I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Beautiful property with modern, comfortable and spacious room. It was pouring rain the day I arrived, so parked myself at the spa for 3 hours and had by far the best Ayurvedic treatments I had on my entire trip. Overall accommodations and spa were a luxurious experience that didn't break the bank.

I had a very nice time here. The manager and all the staff are very kind and honest people. The manager helped me a lot was very attentive, organized a great safari, and gave me great tips about the area. It was the best hotel I have been to in Sri Lanka, very clean, in a beautiful location and a perfect base for walking, circling and exploring. They offer bicycles for free and a lot more. The prices are very good and the quality of service exceptional. Come to this place, you will not regret it. Shan take care and best wishes to you. I hope to come again one day!

Chaya is amazing. She was so kind and so helpful. We were not able to coordinate the cooking class, but enjoyed Chaya's amazing cooking. The property was very secluded and quiet. The room was clean and roomy. Saw lots of amazing birds. The place is about 8 km from the main sites, but we were self-driving so not an issue.

This is our second visit to the Heritage Hotel In Anuradhapura, as we getting to the lobby Mr. Sumith came and recognized us and gave us a warm welcome, from that time until we leave he personally took care of us, I should say he is an asset to the hotel, then miss Thlini at front , she was arranging the Kiripindu Dana for us and always helped us with a charming smile. The restaurant staff , chefs every one is giving us a professional service, the food was excellent with lots of verities to select. Room was very clean and perfect. Very calm and quiet place to stay after traveling a long distance from Colombo. The hotel surrounding is in environmentally friendly location. Very conveniently located to go to all the important Dagabas In Anuradhapura. Without any hesitation I can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants visit Anuradhapura . Finally I want to thank specially to Mr. Wijesinghe and his great staff for making our stay memorable, and I promised Mr. Wijesinghe that we are coming back when ever we go on vacation to Sri Lanka.

The Vacation we had in RAJARATA HOTEL - ANURADHAPURA is superb, This was my second stay there and it was great again - I visited Rajarata Hotel with My Family -They loved it too. Beds were comfortable, Rooms and bathrooms were superb clean - Room Services and Reception Staff was very good - For my father's birthday i told the hotel i want to give him a surprise and they arranged it so well - WOW ... Great support. Thank you for your service so much - Must say I ordered lunch from their Alar Cart Menu and they had great varieties where food were tasty and restaurant staff was so helpful and respectful. Had breakfast Buffet - It was superb with some good Varieties to select - Thanks again -Loved our stay at Rajarata Hotel & Will come again for sure.

What made our stay really memorable is the staff, from front desk agents, to waiters at the restaurants, to the guys driving us around with buggies, to people servicing our room. They have been amazingly kind and hospitable with us. It is difficult to pick one in particular, but if we have to name one we would say Kusal, who on our last day came especially to pick us from the lake and drove us back to the reception. Not only he gave us a small tour but also told us lots of interesting facts about the fishermen and the animals living in the area around the lak

During my stay, the property owner made several inappropriate and judgmental comments about my affordability and my decision to share meals with my mother, who is disabled. His behaviour was rude and discriminatory. After I posted my review describing my disappointment, the owner contacted me directly on my personal mobile number using very abusive and offensive language. This message was completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe.

Anuradhapura is an amazing and spiritual place. It's different from the other sites in Sri Lanka because it still attracts so many pilgrims to its religious sites. It's a good idea to dedicate one day to visiting the active pilgrimage sites and the next to the historical sites, for which you need a ticket. If you have an extra day, you can also return to the sites at night, which is when pilgrims light candles. Make sure you've got the Pick Me app installed and look out for a tuk tuk driver called Nisha. He's absolutely amazing: great driver, kind and attentive and with good English. For dinner, the atmospheric Hotel Shalini is a good bet. The Seedevi family restaurant is another good place. If you want to have a beer, they can put you in a separate 'family' room, or you can go to the tiny 'pub' next door.
