I booked for the amenities and they definitely didn’t disappoint! I loved the breakfast buffet it’s worth it to add it to your room rate because they have so many types of breakfast foods. The rooftop pool was the stand out for me, a stunning view of Colombo and a pleasure to cool off from the heat in the cool pool. You can watch the sunset right from your room (if you’re facing the sea) or from the rooftop pool. The gym was also pleasantly well equipped so I had a good workout. The king sea view room is so nice, very clean and a great size with a comfortable huge bed, soft sheets and pillows. The room is stylishly designed with red accents. I used room service a lot and the food was great except for the Caesar salad which was just plain lettuce which was disappointing. The staff are friendly, respectful and helpful. The location is good, but you’ll find it hard to want to leave this oasis of a hotel in the middle of busy Colombo. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.Guest review byKyraNew Zealand

We planed to visit Kandy as our next stop but he suggested we cancel since it’s super crowded at that time and it turned out that he saved us from trouble cause when we reached Ella, we had a guest telling another guest about the hassle and chaos they had to go through in Kandy and even had to overstay a night since they couldn’t get train tickets. Dehiwela is very multi cultural and many differant varieties of restaurants and clothing along hill street which we stayed. people were very nice and polite to us and we felt safe even at late hours. also walking along hill street is quite a visual experience and we have done a few food crawls (like pub crawl but for food! ) along hill street. Lovely town. Sri Lankan government buildings are located in this town. Citizenship and Immigration, Visa and NIC offices are here. There is also the Diyawanna Lake with board walks, bicycle routes, Parks and walk ways, perfect sceneries. Easy to get around town just by walking. This 3-Level Apartment has 3 Bed Rooms and is located in a secure and convenient location in Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka. The Hosts were quite friendly and responsive to your needs. The accommodation is well-equipped for a long-term stay as well. All Appliances and Equipment were in working order. The Washing Machine helped me to travel with less clothes. The Accommodation had a separate entrance with access to the Electric Roller Door. Colombo has many main tourist attractions but these could easily be seen within one day on a tuktuk. Another day to do the Pettah markets and some of the other plazas. Then you are done. Unless you have people to be with in Colombo two, maybe three, days should be enough. The real adventure of Sri Lanka lies out of Colombo in the central towns and cities and those towns along the coast. Tuktuks and taxis abound and can be inexpensive - all around Sri Lanka. HOWEVER always ask for a set price before you get in as to the cost of the trip you need. Tourists will always pay a little more than the locals but it can still be very cheap. A lot of shops and places do not accept credit card payments, so come with a wallet of cash. Supermarkets called Keells and Cargills for example abound are are a local prices. Their range of food and drinks is large. Rubbish can be a bit of an issue if you notice, but there are street cleaners who seem to collect the rubbish just thrown onto the road edge daily. The sun and heat can be harsh for foreigners so come prepared with big hats, sunburn cream, sunglasses and clothes that 'breathe'. The locals are generally very respectful, honest and helpful in answering any questions you may have. You will find lots of beggars as well on your travels.
