Fantastic environment. Old construction but well maintained. Good balance between old and new. Room was large (we had the deluxe version ) and very clean. Nice and spacious bathroom, with Villeroy & Boch equipment. Of course. Breakfast was very generous and provided many options. Breakfast rooms (yes, more than one) were superbly decorated and featured V&B plates, cups, etc. Definitely classy. Staff was impeccable, helpful, and spoke other languages besides German. For us, the price point was higher than most of our other nights, however we fully appreciated every moment we spent there. Highly recommended. Memorable. Thank you!

This hotel is exquisite and worth every penny (or euro 😉) Our room was absolutely stunning with the soaring ceilings and old wood beams, We had a gorgeous bed with a velvet headboard and all of the furnishings were luxurious. The bathroom was perfect for two people with a separate water closet and a wonderful shower with great water pressure. The location cant be beat for amazing shopping and easy access to free tram and buses and delicious places to eat. The staff is wonderfully helpful and first class. I would definitely stay here again!

    Beautiful family run hotel. We were greeted with a welcome glass of fizz and informed of all the facilities. We had a two bedroom suite with a huge terrace. The rooms are very stylish and comfortable. Each guest is given a spa bag with robe and towels included to use during their stay. The spa has everything you need for a relaxing health break, a good selection of treatments are also available to book. Refreshments such as teas and juices are available in the spa free of charge, the spa area is very serene. Included in our package was a four course evening meal, which you could upgrade to five course, the food was really delicious. The hotel also offers an extensive wine menu to suit all budgets. The following morning at breakfast we were welcomed to our table and served a homemade ginger and apple shot. The selection of breakfast food available was extensive and again was delicious. Could not fault this hotel of the service lots of attention o detail. What a find and we will definitely return. Highly recommended.

    Upon arrival at the reception, the friendly staff helped me with the check-in. I got a card from my room and went to my room. The room was clean, it was not vacuumed and pieces of cookies were left by someone on the carpet, but just at that time there was a cleaning service in the corridor. The women didn't speak English, but they immediately vacuumed the whole room. Then I went to the sauna, swimming pool and hammam. Amazing feelings. Next to the hotel there is a stop for a free bus to the city center. So 10-15 minutes from the hotel there is another stop, buses go there until 4 in the morning. There is also a bar open at night where you can have fun. Conclusion: price / quality 10/10, hotel 8/10, room 9/10, staff 10/10, service 9/10, pool 100/10. With the choice of a hotel, I would not doubt. I would come again!

    Very walkable city, there is a “High Town” & a “Low Town”, so be prepared for some hills. There is a lift joining the two. Interesting historic buildings, squares & park areas. Lots of bars &restaurants. Try the local potato pancakes, served with apple sauce & salad.

    We technically stayed in Orscholz, which is a smaller hamelt of Mettlach. It's right where the Saarschleife is as well as a number of biking and hiking trails. We only did the Saarschleife and the Spielplatz, but could have spent a couple days there!

    Mondorf-les-Bains is a charming town with over 5,000 inhabitants located near the Luxembourg Moselle River. Home to the only casino and the only spa and fitness center in the Grand Duchy, it benefits from all the advantages of a big city: -Everything close to home, -Easily accessible by public transport, -Many leisure and recreational opportunities, -Fascinating architecture and cultural heritage, -Many shops, A wide selection of hotels and restaurants.     I only stayed 1 night, so I didn't get to really dive in to what makes Remich tick. It was a quaint little town with a large waterfront area that was fun to walk around. The food in the area was very good, but make reservations. I would try to get to see the underground wineries if we visit again.

    Luxembourg is so easy to get around, trams in the city are free and frequent. The train to other parts are also free and frequent, allowing you to travel to all their historic sights. It is so beautiful really capturing the blend of modern and old. Lot of parks and green spaces to relax or explore on foot or by bike. The people of Luxembourg were friendly and helpful. There were lots of food choices and prices were not over the top. Really impressed with Ettlebruck and Vianden for a day trip. Luxembourg has a lot to offer for any age group along with, families, teenagers and couples.

    Mettlach is a charming small town in Germany with many good shops. The church is also impressive. There are a lot of very nice hikes easily accessible from there offering tranquility and interesting landscape alongside the river Saar, for example. Burg Montclair, the remains of a castle on the hill, is also accessible and you can get coffee and cake until the end of October.

    lovely views of the city, be careful if you, like me, have a touch of vertigo as numerous high points with deep changes of level. ideal for a two day visit. If you like a few drinks then look for the happy hour places in the town as it is quite expensive for drinks otherwise. Try the local good...very nice indeed. We ate at Brasserie du Cercle was lovely.

    A quiet place with all we needed. A good place to do sightseeing, by bike, on foot, by car. Great place to be in the garden as well. Not a lot of eating places but the kitched is well equiped. You can easily cycle into Luxembourgh or France.

    This is an upscale spa where guests can go to get away from it all and get pampered in a variety of ways with excellent food and all the necessary comforts. We used it as our home base to see family and attend the Formula 1 at Spa Franchorchamps. It is totally suitable for spa activities, just staying at a wonderful hotel for other reasons, and to get away from it all.
