We were upgraded to a bungalow and it was gorgeous! Everything looked new and it was a very peaceful one night stay. Breakfast was wonderful. It wasn't included in the booking but we were able to pay separately when we arrived. It was a short walk to the cable car, places to eat, walking stick park, Sigulda New Castle and the Castle of the Livonian Order. It was only a twenty minute walk to the the bobsleigh track, but we drove there on our way out of town because it was a hot day and there was a lot of walking at the track if you wanted to walk alongside it. It was a perfect stay and I wish we were there longer. I would definitely recommend Villa Vanilla!

Location was very central and the staff were exceptionally welcoming. Their resident boss (cat named Adolfs) also made several appearances and brought us heaps of joy. The food was lovely, I had ham and cheese filled crepe for breakfast and honestly it was the best I've ever had.

Lovely place, great hospitality. The breakfast was really good, definitely worth the money. The location was perfect for us - a little bit out of town but only five euro's by bolt to center. A little rough on the outside but wonderfully renovated in the inside.
