They welcomed me with the so far best mint tee I had in Morocco. It's a nice central hotel. It's very classy and a bit old fashioned which for me was an experience. It could have much higher prices than what I actually paid. I had a room with a balcony and on the ,5th floor, so amazing view of the city. There's no parking, but parking people in the street find you a parking close to the hotel for a little tip

    Very good value for money: stunning views over the city, The Atlantic, the mosk. Clean, comfortable, and importantly, well insulated against the noise, which is a big plus considering it is located at a busy intersection. Don't miss the restaurant on the 28th floor. I went at sunset and won't forget it. Also, the staff was super friendly and professional. Shout out to Assia at the reception who kindly took care of me while I was waiting for the room, bringing me a nice Moroccan tea with biscuits.

    One of the best experiences i had … 1. the reception staff : Buthina was amazing, helpful, welcoming and smiling all the time . Yasin the butler is helpful.     Before this trip I'd only been to Marrakech in Morocco - so it was like going from the traditional Morocco to the business side of Morocco - very diverse - it felt like a cross between UK and Spain. Everything is at your finger tips and the city of Casablanca is very walkable.

    The portuguese fortification on the seashore was spectacular.There is a wonderful beach nearby. Far less foreign tourists than other places. There were some places where garbage disposal was inadequate. It felt very safe everywhere.Busses were very crowded so we used inexpensive taxis.

    Mohammedia is a calm vibrant city that has everything for their residents and visitors. It is geographically placed between Casablanca and Rabat and the location is brilliant for people to commute and tour Morroco. In my opinion the best city in Morocco for many many reasons.

    Feels a bit like undiscovered St Tropez. Beautiful, striking views, nature, bird watching. Unfortunately, the way they cooked fish at most places was not up to par for us. That's pretty much our only complaint though. And the water in April was just a tad cold for swimming. Others were swimming though.

    Simply put, affordable location very close to airport without feeling like a typical airport hotel. Great host, super luxurious. I am not the "spa" type of lodging but if you are into that, this will hit your expectations.

    Beni Mellal is cute enough.

    Beni Mellal is cute enough. The town seems chill and gives the right kind of Moroccan vibes. Since we went during Ramadan, eating wasn't much of a highlight: in the daylight hours we were forced to accept McDonald's drive-thru before heading out on a day trip, but that night we had pizza at Davinci Restaurant, which was surprisingly quite good (particularly if you're familiar with pizza in Morocco) and overall well managed. The region is even more spectacular: drive over the mountain range to Bin El Ouidane (1 hour) and continue to Ouzoud Falls (1 hour more) via Azilal (about midway in between). Gorgeous terrain!

    Very professional, and courteous staff.

    Very professional, and courteous staff. They serve from the heart. I will not share what their wages are, but tipping is not against the rules. Unfortunately, they will never tell you what an adequate tip is, but they give service purely from the heart and I am sure if you tip from your heart, you will find even better than great service is possible.

    We went early to the waterfalls and it was really quiet which was great. The coffee shops, restaurants and shops weren't open. We weren't there for that so that was fine.There was lots of free parking. Falls were great and the trail interesting. Shame there is so much discarded plastic everywhere.

    Trip to the falls was great, good atmosphere with local lads climbing up mountain face and jumping and diving into falls, we did the small trip up to the falls the spray was much needed as it was roasting, even got to row the boat round, got some lively snaps and videos although I didn't go into the water. Had a lovely meal actually best meal in morocco and not to expensive thanks to Chez Mounir will defo go back

    We enjoyed a couple of days in Casablanca doing our own...

    We enjoyed a couple of days in Casablanca doing our own thing. It was easy to walk around the key sites and we had a guided tour inside of the Hassan II Mosque. (We like Lonely Planet Guides and used this all over Morocco including Casablanca). After time spent inland it was nice to be by the coast and experience a few degrees lower temperatures. Casablanca does not have the old Medina's like Fez, Marrakesh and Rabat and there are less tourist/souvenir type shops so if you are after artisanal products both Fez and Marrakesh are better for that. We travelled to Casablanca on the train from Fez, it was excellent, we also travelled to Tangier, Rabat and back to Casablanca on the train. All tickets were easily bought online through Rail Ninja (via the Moroccan Train website). Trains ran on time and were quite comfortable (with varying quality of Airconditioning!) First class tickets were not a lot more expensive than regular tickets and worth the extra.
