- From $94.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,266 reviewsEverything in the hotel looks brand new in white and soft colors with a nice simple style. the central location is ideal - walking distance to Hassan square and Medina as well as downtown. Rooms are simple but « efficient « with large windows and very good bathrooms. breakfast (buffet ) was nice including tomatoes and fruits. Very quiet neighbourhood with some dinner options. I highly recommend the wonderful new restaurant just next door : modern look, new cuisine, specialty of seafood and fish. i had the « st Pierre » fillet it was delicious. the staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful: Restaurant MAREA. it has been our best meal on the entire tour of Morocco.Guest review bySylvainFrance

Rabat is now one of my favourite capital cities.
Rabat is now one of my favourite capital cities. It has a great mix of ancient medina/kasbah and French city planning with wide boulevards and shaded arcades. There is much to do and see. Rich culture and well cared for environment.Guest review byJeremyUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Very close to Rabat, just a short walk.
Very close to Rabat, just a short walk. Take the public water taxi over to the main town as it is really cheap and fun. The souk of Sale is also lovely! The sea on the Sale side is easily accessible. Dress modestly to fit in when swimming, this is a locals beach. The tram is also easy to get on and use from the Sale side.Guest review bySimon J COHENUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This is the real Morocco.
This is the real Morocco. Not a tourist hot spot but with that comes honest people. This really is not exception. Temara I have never had a issue with being over charged for anything. even the local small shops treat you with dignity and respect. Not like the centre of Rabat city where you will get over charged for everything. I have all the respect in the world for the people of Temara. one issue I find is taxis. you have coloured taxis, blue ones white ones, green ones. and they all have restrictions on where they can travel to. I found that using the app called InDrive to be the best and most efficient way to travel thought Rabat. And they are very reasonably priced and they will come to you at your location. no walking round waving taxis down that just say no.Guest review byMalcolmUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Too much garbage in the town and on the beach and in the ocean. Swimming was not possible. Rough waves in beach and lots of garbage inside water. Noisy Neighbours and People are generally noisy and loud Not many options for restaurants Lots of flies in restaurants Taxi is difficult to reach..There is a station station which you must wait to get a taxi to full before leaving. Best to have a car for this trip.Guest review byAlGheeMorocco - 8.0

The accomodation was great but you need a car to get grocerries and food. The restaurants are 2 or 3 only and with limited options. The walk from the the apartement to the restaurants is long as you need to go to the beach which has lots of steps as the property is on a higher level than the beach. Be aware of street dogs, as they are everywhere even on beach sometimes. The supermarket (Beem) is 10min drive with a car which has most of the basic needs. Also 4 pharmacies are available. The local market is 7min away if you like to eat real local dishes and there is only 1 bakeryGuest review bySAADUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

Rabat gets a poor showing in tourist guides and recommendations but I adore the place. I've been there five times now and will be going back again soon. It definitely off the main tourist trail and not overloaded with monuments but the atmosphere is very tranquil and friendly. By Moroccan standards it's clean and orderly with beautiful gardens and a great beach and shoreline with the Bouregreg separating it from its twin but much older sister town Sale with its traditional ambience and modest understated feel. Rabat is big enough to call itself a city (it is the capital after all) but friendly and homely enough to have the air of a provincial town. It is a safe place to be and prices are fixed and fair so there is no having to haggle or lohg unpleasant faces and scowls if you decide not to buy something. People are friendly and hospitable and it has some great places for home cooking!Guest review byNicholasSpain - 10.0

Salé has much more of the old world charm than does Rabat, and after all that is why you visited Morocco in the first place! Naturally the street food and small cafes are great, but if you want fine dining it is within a short walk to the marina area. There you will have access to excellent food and a great selection of the finest locally produced wines. Try "Al Marsa" restaurant. Not only great food and wine but a table practically on the riverbank!Guest review bySTEVE and TONI HOLMBERGUnited States - 10.0
Rabat is very clean and smell fresh every day.
Rabat is very clean and smell fresh every day. The people are humble, smart and respectful. I got my food from restaurants and supermarkets. Moving around was not difficult because of so many taxis and the tram train coupled with well lit streets at night.Guest review byEdwardZimbabwe
