Budva is a beautiful little town.
Budva is a beautiful little town. The water is unbelievably clear, the people are great. We like to explore so walked from one side of the bay at Kamenovo Beach right around to Mogren Beach. 2 nights was enough for us.Guest review byKarenNetherlands - 6.0

Beautiful clear water for swimming, but the resort was very busy and touristy, full of cheap souvenir shops and pizza bars. The beaches were overcrowded with row upon row of expensive sunbeds and parasols.Guest review byBillUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Sveti Stefan is small enough to explore on foot, there is a pretty coastal walkway that is shaded at times. Whilst busy, the beach didn’t feel too overcrowded in August. The one supermarket is a bit pricey, consider taking some essentials with youGuest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday.
The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday. I didn’t like that every beach seemed to be allocated to a Hotel and we had to pay €30 for two beach lounges, but this was everywhere and I guess, just how it is done everywhere. We had a hire car so we were able to also visit Kotor, Tivat, Sveti Stefan and other areas, which were all within an easy drive. The exception being the major roadworks on the E65/80 to Tivat, but these will likely be completed by next summer.Guest review byHopkins - 10.0

The little haven of an authentic garden, less than 5 minutes from a bustling seaside promenade and beach. Shade to be found all day, place to eat takeout, make yourself a cuppa, or chill with wine you’ve kept in fridge. The sincere hosts: friendly, helpful, available, but living next door so not ever-present. Glad we stayed here and at Rafailovici rather than Boudva - beach options better. ‘Rafailovici tourist office’ is good destination to give taxi on arrival as after that, take narrow street down on right and half way down you’re there. Without luggage the buses back and forth are convenient for Budva. Note Summer 2025 - roadworks between Budva (&Kotor) a nightmare ongoing road building possibly a year - this means significantly higher bus travel time /taxi quotes from airport (Around €60 for 50 min journey although also got €80 quoted). Key jiggling for room 2 a bit of a challenge but otherwise everything spotlessly clean, simple, and comfortable beds.Guest review byHannaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beach is perfect, smallest pabbels, clear waters great for sweeming. I’d come bavk for longer stay inwsrmer season. Right on the beach there are several restaurants with good food. My recomendation eould still be restaurant on the top , main road, named Kusto. During summer reservation is needed. I would deffinitelly take a walk to St Stefan beach (20-30min thru pine trees and great beaches Kings beach Milocher & St Stefan beach.Guest review byNadaMontenegro - 4.0
Water is good, but there are some issues with the place.
Water is good, but there are some issues with the place. Homeless dogs and cats, garbage and stinky smells when you are going to the beach. Crazy drivers who don’t look for the speed limit and some strange people around.Guest review byЮляEstonia - 10.0

ChatGPT said: What I like most about Budva is the way it blends the charm of history with the vibrancy of the Adriatic coast. Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town feels like stepping back in time, with its stone houses, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old churches exuding a timeless character. Yet just beyond the ancient walls, the lively beaches and waterfront promenade create an entirely different energy—filled with the scent of the sea, the sound of music drifting from cafés, and the hum of people enjoying the warm Montenegrin sun. It’s this unique contrast—where tradition and modern life meet against a backdrop of turquoise waters and rugged mountains—that makes Budva feel endlessly captivating.Guest review byshenajKosovo - 10.0

We liked our little hotel, the clean watter, little promenade next to hotel, with plenty of restaurants, cocktails bars, icecream places. We stayed mostly on beach. Was just what we needed. For recharging battery’s.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The town itself is quiet, rustic and elegant, with charming stone architecture and the scent of old olive treas and sea breeze in the air. It’s no wonder royalty once retreated here. I enjoyed local Montenegrin delicias on a shaded terrace each afternoon, soaking in sunsets that felt almost unreal. This isn't just a beach destination, it's a place for true recuperation. I came back feeling rested, centered, and somehow lighter. If you’re looking for more than just a pretty view, if you need to breathe again, Sveti Stefan is where you go.Guest review bySanny day’sNetherlands
