First of all hotel staff was great. They sent instructions for parking before we checked in and even greeted us at the parking lot to make sure everything is okay. Rooms are definitely clean and big. We are traveling with our 2 years old son and these are really important. Their restaurant is just amazing. Everything is fresh and delightful. Location of the hotel is also perfect. Everywhere is at walking distance so you don’t have to enter terrible budva traffic. If we visit Budva again we will be definitely staying at this hotel again. This hotel deserves more stars. Lastly great thanks to reception crew again! You were really helpful.

It's hard to summarize such a wonderful experience. The host, Lazar, is a warm and friendly person with lots of suggestions to visit and eat. So are his staff, Eva and our great waiter (sorry don't have his name). We drove out waiter crazy with request, but he always managed to service is with a smile. Breakfast was great - with unlimited coffee and all kinds of salads and omelettes etc. The ambiance is romantic, the rooms are well thought out and comfortable with a beautiful balcony to the view which is breathtaking. The bed were super comfortable. Included are a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. Perfect. Close to Budav, within 10 minutes, that gives peace and quiet yet near the old City. Thank you.

    We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff, especially dear Anna, were super friendly and really went out of their way to welcome us. Anna arranged everything that we requested and more with a friendly smile and clear passion for hospitality. Thanks to her, we first got a free upgrade to a room with a sea view, which was truly the highlight of our stay! We enjoyed the balcony and waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean. Not only was Anna helpful when we requested it, but she was pro-active in her attentiveness. For example, on our last day, we had requested a late check out at 11:00, and around 10:00 she called up to our room to let us know we could take our time and check out at 11:30 if needed. It was this kind of attention to guests that really sets Anna apart - what a star! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the convenience of being right on the beach was great. The breakfast had lots of options including almond milk available for those of us who are vegan/lactose-intolerant. The guy who manages the restaurant/breakfast was also extremely friendly and helped my boyfriend bring coffees up to our balcony one morning. We really appreciated that extra touch of hospitality! Although there’s no gym at the hotel, one of the kind staff rang a nearby hotel to ask about a day pass for my boyfriend. She gave him directions to the other hotel and explained in detail how to reach the hotel from the restaurant on the promenade. Overall, we really loved the attention and kindness of the staff and highly recommend staying here!

    Hotel Aleksandar's location is excellent. The staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable. Wifi worked well for me. Easy to get to the beach from hotel but it is a public beach so you do have to pay for the chairs. Breakfast was satisfying. A lot of options. Nice restaurants in the area. There are clubs outside the hotel so it does get noisy but honestly didn't bother me at all. Hotel has so much potential but owners don't do much to spruce it up. A nice paint job would go a long way. Our stay was comfortable. It wasn't as bad as the reviews make it seem.

    We had an amazing stay! We booked two rooms for one night and were pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to two luxurious suites. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. Everything was super clean and well maintained. There’s convenient parking available (for an additional fee). The staff was absolutely wonderful – especially Marina and Jelena, who were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and Djordje, who gave us great recommendations and helped us plan our route around the area. Highly recommended!

    The old town is where most of the nightlife is, lots of bar/ restaurant options. However some are cash only but don't necessarily make this known in advance. Beaches are also very pleasant, only a short distance between the sun loungers and the sea.

    Beautiful clear water for swimming, but the resort was very busy and touristy, full of cheap souvenir shops and pizza bars. The beaches were overcrowded with row upon row of expensive sunbeds and parasols.

    Sveti Stefan is small enough to explore on foot, there is a pretty coastal walkway that is shaded at times. Whilst busy, the beach didn’t feel too overcrowded in August. The one supermarket is a bit pricey, consider taking some essentials with you

    The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday. I didn’t like that every beach seemed to be allocated to a Hotel and we had to pay €30 for two beach lounges, but this was everywhere and I guess, just how it is done everywhere. We had a hire car so we were able to also visit Kotor, Tivat, Sveti Stefan and other areas, which were all within an easy drive. The exception being the major roadworks on the E65/80 to Tivat, but these will likely be completed by next summer.

    The little haven of an authentic garden, less than 5 minutes from a bustling seaside promenade and beach. Shade to be found all day, place to eat takeout, make yourself a cuppa, or chill with wine you’ve kept in fridge. The sincere hosts: friendly, helpful, available, but living next door so not ever-present. Glad we stayed here and at Rafailovici rather than Boudva - beach options better. ‘Rafailovici tourist office’ is good destination to give taxi on arrival as after that, take narrow street down on right and half way down you’re there. Without luggage the buses back and forth are convenient for Budva. Note Summer 2025 - roadworks between Budva (&Kotor) a nightmare ongoing road building possibly a year - this means significantly higher bus travel time /taxi quotes from airport (Around €60 for 50 min journey although also got €80 quoted). Key jiggling for room 2 a bit of a challenge but otherwise everything spotlessly clean, simple, and comfortable beds.

My recomendation eould still be restaurant on the top , main road, named Kusto. During summer reservation is needed. I would deffinitelly take a walk to St Stefan beach (20-30min thru pine trees and great beaches Kings beach Milocher & St Stefan beach.

    Water is good, but there are some issues with the place.

    Water is good, but there are some issues with the place. Homeless dogs and cats, garbage and stinky smells when you are going to the beach. Crazy drivers who don’t look for the speed limit and some strange people around.

    Budva is nice: old town, sea side and restaurants with a good food. It is easy to walk around, but to get an impression about Montenegro it is also worth to visit other cities. Food in the restaurants was good, I also liked local hypermarket with a local food. September is probably he best time to visit Budva.

    We liked our little hotel, the clean watter, little promenade next to hotel, with plenty of restaurants, cocktails bars, icecream places. We stayed mostly on beach. Was just what we needed. For recharging battery’s.

    The town itself is quiet, rustic and elegant, with charming stone architecture and the scent of old olive treas and sea breeze in the air. It’s no wonder royalty once retreated here. I enjoyed local Montenegrin delicias on a shaded terrace each afternoon, soaking in sunsets that felt almost unreal. This isn't just a beach destination, it's a place for true recuperation. I came back feeling rested, centered, and somehow lighter. If you’re looking for more than just a pretty view, if you need to breathe again, Sveti Stefan is where you go.
