Very nice, small, well renovated hotel! It was our first night as wife and husband and they even made the room romantic, put some flowers, candles, wine to surprise us. Very nice touch! Also, the breakfast was very tasty. It has a small pool for those who wish to enjoy it.

A very professional and welcoming staff. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious, modern but cozy at the same time. Had a room with a balcony and the view was breathtaking. The rooms are all laid out facing the pool. The lounge and breakfast area are on a lower level that accesses the Hercig Novi walking path. The walk into town for dinner through the old converted railroad tunnel was a pleasant surprise. Not too far and good to get some steps in after being on the motorcycle for a few hours.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Max Barišići in Montenegro. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and always made sure that we felt comfortable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The location is excellent – close to the beach and local attractions, yet quiet enough for a peaceful rest. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety and fresh ingredients every day. I especially appreciated the warm hospitality and family-like atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect balance of comfort, great service, and authentic Montenegrin hospitality. Definitely a place I would love to return to!

    We loved everything about our stay & this property. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was amazing - there is a huge selection of various food items including savor and sweet items! The location is 3 min walk to a smaller beach and about 10 minutes walk to a larger/main beach. The outdoor pool has beach chairs and a nice view. It's kept clean and well maintained. You can also order food and drinks from the restaurant and they will bring it by the pool.

    It is a great property with spacious rooms, perfect for those who love authentic living. It's very well equipped, offering the possibility to make one's own dinner.     Great destination for romantic holiday. Good restaurants, a lot of clean beaches, good size town, everything was accessible by foot, but enough things to see. A lot of stairs and climbing. Maybe not the best place for small children or elderly. During summer time, climbing can be too much also for fit adults, at least at the daytime.

    Dubrovnik is a great place - but if you can find your way down to Montenegro, and especially the best little place called Igalo go for it... its great, quiet beautiful........... I've been there 8 times!

    Bijela is a nice small town, with many shops and restaurants (though prices there are pretty similar to Austrian!). The sea view is fine, but they REALLY lack of wastewater plant. Though this is not specific to Bijela, the whole Kotor bay suffers from water pollution, and from not nice odors near beaches. With the only exception of Herceg Novi. Despite that it is much bigger than Bijela and than most of other places in the bay, the water there is also much cleaner. I believe this is not only because they are located at the entrance to the bay, but also because this is the only town with the sewage processing station in the bay. The rest was amazing, town has everything I was needed -- shops, car rental, public transport connection. The nature and people are amazing!

    A quieter part of the coastline in comparison to Kotor. The roads were not full of traffic jams and you can take water taxis or boat rides across to the other side of the bay. The landscape is filled with olive groves and the beaches were not too busy. Don’t expect long sandy beaches - more small pebbled coves with rocks or concrete platforms to enter the clear water. We enjoyed our stay.

    We absolutely loved Kamenari, it’s a charming, perfect for real relaxation. The village may be small and lacks its own promenade, but there’s a lovely walk just 10–15 minutes away. The beaches are stunningly beautiful- rocky, with clear water.

    The beach is nice but it is muddy with rocks so you can’t really see them. When you enter there are big rocks (I even cut my leg) and then it starts with the mud. For long it’s shallow which I personally really like. The water was medium warm. Street where the beach is is full of boutiques and restaurants with their private beach part and nice views from the restaurant

    Amazing place, some strongholds to see, some natural miracles like blue cafe and Kotor's bay. Somehow hard to drive in there, for the one that got used to broad roads and flat countries :). Very heavy trafic near the coast. Beautifull landscapes. I want to return there.

    Bijela was great for peace, quiet and calm. Also, large supermarkets and pekaras are in walking distance. Stunning views as usual. The only caveat is that the beaches are not 100% meant for swimming. There are many boat areas, fishing docks and lack of shade along the coastline (not too many trees like other towns). However, there are pockets of swimming areas, you just have to find them. Baosici Beach (the next town a 10 min walk away) is packed with swimming beaches though, so it's not too big of a deal honestly. Also keep in mind that most beaches in both Bijela and Baosici are rocky, which I personally prefer, but I know some people who would've liked sandy beaches.

    The best part of my holiday was the picturesque walk along the promenade from the old town to the Perla Hotel… for lunch in their sea front restaurant and relaxation on their comfortable sunbeds. Easy access to the water from the beach or the steps from the sun terrace.

    town not particularly touristic. Unattractive beaches. But a nice place as a base for exploring Montenegro. The beaches are not beautiful. The town itself has a dozen or so shops, several restaurants, two supermarkets and two bakeries (delicious burkas)
