Podgorica does not get great reviews in the travel guides but we really enjoyed our day there. Very clean, very safe and very green. No great sites but lots of interest to see how people live. I probably wouldn't recommend visiting the city... We spent one night here after staying in Budva to be closer to the airport the next day. We felt there wasn't much to see (maybe we just didn't know the right spots...). However, would highly recommend staying in the coastal towns like Budva! Might be easier to fly into Tivat Airport instead. Be careful with the taxi drivers - there's a lot of scammers out there and unfortunately, Uber/Bolt isn't available. It's a really small village down the road.
It's a really small village down the road. Nice views but this is it, do not expect any attractions. It's basically a good spot to stay for the night while travelling in between different Montenegro localisation (for example if you're planning a boat trip over Skadarlake) Vranjina is a good 1-3 night stay for a cheap price with great local food (prices way better than in the nearby Virpazar).
