Rouselle, the receptionist, was so friendly, kind and mainly patient with us and all ours doubts. Also helped us to choose the best excursions to the others islands. We got very thankful. About the room, it was very comfortable with kitchen utilities. We enjoyed a lot spending time at night drinking some wine while felt the Mediterranean brease (an amazing vibe). The hotel is perfect, very well located, with many restaurants around for all kind of travelers. There are 3 swimming pools in the hotel and all are very clean. It has a big restaurant and also a bar beside the outdoor pool, an amazing place to stay and see the day goes out. A good thing is that the hotel has a lot of discounts and promos you can enjoy anywhere, both in restaurant services and outside the restaurant. The Melieha Bay is perfect to go with kids or only laydown and relax the sun/sea. The spa also deserves a word. I had one of the best experiences I have had in a Spa. As a masseur, I'm used to receive massages but nothing like what I had here. I also was very welcomed by Onidia, she explained everything about the massages I would like and helped us to get the best experience. She also showed us the spa and the amazing products they use, impossible don't enjoy the spa services. We chose hydrobath massage with a glass of prosecco (we highly recommend, mainly for couples - so relaxing and romantic) and the Enchanted Aromas Getaway spa experience. The massage room was prepered for both of us and the masseurs (Melrose and Katherine) was very gently and made the massages in the pressure that we asked. Beyond all of these, we felt so happy cause the hotel is very gay friendly. In our room they had the care to leave the spa folder personalized with a gay couple and we, as a woman couple, felt very well with. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We didn't have a car, but you don't really need it, there's a bus stop nearby and buses are frequent. We recommend buying a travel card for 25 EUR for unlimited travel for seven days including the airport and Gozo (not the ferry). Nice place to stay and visit. As a person who does not like partying, I should have at least done an in depth research about the place because it was noisy at night especially with cars honking and revving and drunk people shouting. Great location from where you can explore Malta. Sliema has a lot to offer: a nice promenade with amazing views of Valletta and lots of shops and restaurants. The beach was clean and sunbeds with umbrellas were great. They even provided a separate towel to lie on. This was a small cost for the use of it all day. The bar and restaurant weren’t part of our hotel but just a stones throw, so perfect. Lots of rocks to lie on and ladders used in parts to get into the sea. Valletta has plenty to offer tourists. There are busses, ferry’s, Uber and Bolt that make getting about without a car very easy. Lots to explore. Malta offers a good public transport, so it is so easy to move around. There are plenty of bars and resturants. Beautiful sea and places of interests to visit via public transport. Although I have been to Mellieha before and it has changed enormously in the last 25 years, I think it is still one of the most charming parts of Malta. There are dozens of bars and restaurants, a fair few of which I have visited and every one was excellent. I could not fault the village in any way I would certainly recommend this as a holiday destination. Although very hilly, I believe that is part of its charm and I have stayed in other parts of Malta, all of which have their own attraction.Guest review byMcLennan - 8.0

Marsaskala is a relaxing, not rowdy place. Ideal for solo,couples/families. No party , noisy club/bar scenes. Lovely coffee circus, facing the harbour, ice cream places selling various soft drinks, smoothies, tea & coffee etc, plus delicious pastries & cakes. Bus station close by, range of supermarkets, pharmacy, few bars, different restaurants, and a great bakery selling fresh food from 5am until 11pm. We enjoyed various maltese food from there, great prices too. The people make the holiday, as much as the place, and we met lovely people in various shops, restaurants, and in the places we visited. Medina, Valletta, marsaxlokk, birgu. Made lovely memories in wonderful places. Local buses are great, clean and you see many wonderful architecture as you travel, various bus routes from Marsaskala. Msida is perfectly situated, especially if one likes to walk as it’s convenient to Valletta as well as Sleima. I stayed just off Ta Xbiex so they were convenient stores, cafés, restaurants, and so many other amenities. One restaurant I frequently because of the great food and the great staff was kebab King. Frequent and numerous busses made this area very convenient. Nice area at the heart of the 3 cities. While the surroundings are similar to Valetta, there is less tourists and more tranquility.
